If you plan to rely on it heavily in adverse conditions, expect to invest effort into upkeep and consider pairing it with a smaller knife for detailed tasks. The TIVOLI Kukri is a well-built, strong performer in the kukri line—excellent for chopping, splitting, and general survival use. Its design honors traditional Nepalese craftsmanship combined with modern materials. If you’re comfortable with its size and bring it along with a smaller knife for precision work, it’s a versatile and durable outdoor tool.

Not overly thick, on the order of a traditional Nepali kukri, not the thick bladed knives that have become popular.. Have not been able to determine where these are made. "Japanese techniques", "Japanese quality", etc., but no country of origin on the knife or box. The pins are proud of the scales on mine, so gloves are necessary to avoid scratching my hands. Seems to be well made and good quality, otherwise.

Exceeds my expectations. Not an OG kukri of course but not flimsy and not cheaply made. D2 steel. Edge retention is there.

I recently purchased the “TIVOLI”sharp knife, and I'm impressed with its performance. The blade is made of high-carbon stainless steel, which provides excellent sharpness and durability. I've used it for several weeks now, and the sharpness has held up well. However, I do wish the handle was a bit more durable. Overall, I'd give this knife 5 stars out of 5. this seems like a good knife considering the price - I paid $30.
