Used it a few times now for various things I needed to mash up: spices, avocados, pills, dried mushrooms. Works wonderfully. Very solid mortar and pestle. Looks really nice on your counter and it's super easy to clean because its such a simple shape no silly rims or decorations for stuff to gunk up. It is a bit heavy if that's a concern but easy for me to lift and move around and you're gonna have it planted on a table anyways.

I was impressed with how the rough finish helps grind spices easily. Delivery from amazon drivers is always perfect and respectful of the property.I was able to make fresh ginger garlic paste, crush other spices such as cinnamon, coriander seeds, black pepper etc.

Heavy enough to be functional.

Gave this to my Daughter as a gift. She loves it. So far she has voiced no complaints.
