Easy to assemble , puts out a lot of air cooling the garage, but is loud.

RUN as fast as you can away from these 24" oscillating fans! I have purchased six of them over two years, and none of them work as they should. You'd be better off just to buy non-oscillating. Also, YOU CANNOT GET PARTS for these fans! The supplier and manufacturer do not offer parts for the 24" fans. Not only did I want parts to repair what had broken from just a few months of normal wear, but a new one arrived with a part missing. I will NEVER buy another Master 24" oscillating fan. I'm now buying them from Global Industries. I use them to keep horses cool when they are stalled on extremely hot days. Run away from these oscillating fans; cheaply made in China.

Moves a ton of air in a garage shop. A big negative was the condition of the box. I know this is heavy, but there is no excuse for the torn and tattered box. Fortunately, the fan was not damaged for the exception of the motor not starting when turned on for the first time. A few manual turns of the fans seemed to clear up the problem.

The fan works, but the assembly instructions did not match the model. The product was also clearly a customer return item, with some assembly completed. The fan motor has to be attached to a bolt, which attaches to the pole via a bracket. The bolt came loose and the fan-motor fell to the floor. Loctite secured now.

Really like this fan. Works very well and relatively quiet for such a large fan. You don't need to yell to talk over it. And you can remove the pin that makes it oscillate if you want and put it back in when you want. It just doesn't have a switch to do it, but it's possible. We are looking at buying a second one for the other garage.

The only redeeming quality of this fan was the low noise level. The package came without necessary hardware or instructions to assemble it. I had to use my own screws to attach the base. In addition, the only way to stop it from oscillating was to disconnect the the arm that stabilizes the fan, as well as make it oscillate. I had to keep the fan from wobbling back & forth by using heavy duty wire between the shaft and the fan. An item that cost this much not have to be rigged to make it function.

Bought several of these for in our shop at work and the guys love them. There is no remote control or at least none of them came with one. The noise level is fine for in a shop but would be a bit much in smaller garage. All in all, great value
