This is exactly what I needed for my small apartment with limited counter space and no place for a trashcan. My small microwave fits perfectly on top and I found a trashcan at Ikea that fits perfectly inside. The back panel arrived damaged but you can't see the damage with the item against the wall. The rest of the pieces were in good shape. Item assembled easily enough and seems sturdy. Simple enough design that it matches most decor. I keep the cutting board out of the drawer so I can use it as a functional drawer without having to remove it everytime I get into the drawer. If I didn't want a stand with a hidden trash can compartment I would have found something less expensive, but this is definitely worth the price if you need something to hide your trash can.

So, I bought one of these hideaway trash bin holders a few months ago and wanted to wait until I had it for a little while before writing my review. I initially bought it because I live in a relatively small apartment that doesn't have much counter space. I'd been shopping around for one of these that would be able to let me double up on space by having a counter that also functioned as a trash bin. This one was particularly nice because it also included an additional drawer and a cutting board. Overall, I've been satisfied with it and would recommend it for the most part.However bear in mind that, unless you're taking out your trash every day, this can only really be used for recycling. This product has just enough space in the door portion that it lets out the smell from trash that's left in for more than a day. I use a black heavy duty trash bag and put an odor trapping fresh-scented trash bag inside so I know it wasn't an issue with my trash bags. I tried using it for normal trash for about a month before finally giving in and switching it into a recycling bin. (If you install your own foam in the creases, I expect that might help, but I never got around to trying that.)I also expected it to be the same side as my cabinets, but it's slightly taller so I'm not able to line it up with them without it looking a bit awkward.Again, it does its job and I'm happy I got it. These were just a few things that I didn't realize when I was buying it that might be helpful if you're a bit more picky. I used it as a little tea/coffee station for a while, and now keep my toaster oven on top of it. I had an issue with a damaged part, and the seller immediately rectified the problem and I received a new part within two days. The cabinet is a beautiful addition to my kitchen, and it serves my needs perfectly. No fiberboard here- all wood.

I have never had a worse experience putting something together. I bought this extremely excited until I saw the reviews. I thought to myself it couldn't be that bad. Then it arrived. I knew I had bought one that said the box was damaged, but this has obviously been partially built, disassembled and sent back. I can understand that person. I was not told it was a used product. Out of the box I notice multiple things are broken. The door that many people complain about is already broken off. INSIDE OF THE BOX. There are pieces that have smaller pieces attached, 7 different pieces were hanging around loose in the box. I don't like to think myself a person who gives up easy so I glued the broken pieces together with wood glue. Not what I signed up for, but you do what you have. Now I as I am building the thing I find the directions are without any words that's annoying, but doable. The final straw is when I see that the already broken door also is missing the magnetic strip that holds it closed I presume. I do not know if it will work without it, but I am extremely pissed.Do not buy this product. It is terribly made, and obviously the company does not care about the product if they sent it broken and missing parts.

Kitchen cart fit perfectly where I needed it. The description was spot on and met expectations. Even though I gave the ease of assembly five stars it comes with a caveat. If you are not comfortable with basic tools or have zero patience get someone else to assemble. Having said that, all you have to do is get a rechargeable cordless screwdriver and take a patience pill and assembly is relatively easy. I was slightly frustrated the first few minutes but as the cart took shape, I actually began to enjoy the process. The drawer is large and the cutting board a bonus. In sum, overall this product is attractive, very useful, and a good value.

Beautiful piece but it is definitely larger than dimensions given. One piece of the wood was cracked, but in order to get that piece replaced we would have to send the whole thing back. It is very heavy and would've been more of a hassle to do that so we tried to fix the crack ourselves.One of the hinges for the door was also bent. Had to bend it back in order for the door to close properly.

This is exactly what I wanted. I needed a place to put my water dispenser and hide my trash can that wouldn't take up to much space. The assembly was challenging. Make sure that you lay out all of your pieces so that you know what everything is. The hardest part was figuring out which was the drawer guides went. Other then that everything else was pretty easy. Took approx 2 hours, because its so big and sturdy. The back is hard cardboard and it did have one extremely small section that was missing around the hole. That was the only defect I found with the entire thing. Be careful while you are assembling as to not to dent or scratch it. The screws that hold the lower compartment didn't have any padding or rubber on them. I put two pieces of felt on them so they wouldn't slam.I'm still searching to find trash can that fits inside.

This item arrived intact and was easy to assemble if you’re at all handy. The microwave sits on top perfectly. This unit seems quite sturdy and we found a trash bin to fit that is quite large. Very happy with this product.
