Good flavor! Less expensive here than at the grocery store.

I was curious about the sauce after reading glowing reviews. I put together a casserole with wide noodles, leftover turkey cubes, a cup of mixed vegetables, shredded cheddar, a tablespoon of mustard, a little milk. Baked at 350f half hour. The result was edible but very salty and not something I would make again.

Smells Divine... ...Tastes like freshly opened plastic shipped from Temu. Campbell Soup Co. (who owns Prego) has discovered how to bottle the smell of deception. I was really hesitant to try this Creamy Garlic Pesto sauce after reading through the comments about this specific flavor. But I was having a major pesto craving and thought, "Well, half of the world's population thinks cilantro tastes like soap, so... Maybe they're wrong about pesto too." (^_* ) My sense of smell was deceived. When I popped the lid open and smelled that fresh garlic and basil pesto smell, I thought I was in the clear. I cannot express how egregiously wrong this assumption was. This has an inescapable chemical taste that permeated into every inch of the tongue, throat, and even my nose that held my olfactory senses hostage for over an hour. All I could taste and smell was that nauseating chemical aftertaste. I used a 1/4 of my container of dried basil leaves, 4 cloves of garlic, a ton of salt, and even added the seasoned olive oil from a jar of Sun-dried tomatoes that I use for homemade dressings... NOTHING covered up that pungent chemical taste. I don't like to waste food at all, but I did everything I could to make this sauce palatable enough to eat and even after wasting a good amount of various herbs and seasonings, I would rather throw all that money in the trash than have to eat another bite of this sauce. After reading the labels of the last two foul-tasting Campbell's Soup Co. products I ate, I found the source of the problem. Campbell's Soup products aren't made with real food anymore. The "food" ingredients are actually bio-engineered (created in a lab using who-knows-what from who-knows-where) and all their fruit, vegetables, herbs, and spices are from Genetically Modified sources. This was the last Campbell's product I'll ever buy again. Complete waste of money that I don't have room to be wasting.
