This is the first time I've received a certificate of authenticity with jewelry findings, and the stainless steel lobster clasps seem sturdy. However, they are darker than I expected--gunmetal instead of silver color. Other than that, I'm happy with the purchase.

great for making bracelets

Great for individuals that have difficulty clasping a necklace. Easy to hold onto and provide a secure closure

The novelty of a printed note about materials may fool some, but I could just as easily tell you that there are made of zinc and it's only as legitimate as you choose to accept. What I can say is the quality control on these is worse than ones for half the price with 1 in 5 being drastically warped or separated and the rest being slightly less dramatic. They are also shaped a bit awkwardly. Rather than an oval, they open to more of a circle. They do seem relatively durable, though, had they not arrived deformed.
