The tostonera rellena is used for "stuffed" or "filled" tostones. Tostones are fried rounds of plantain. The tostonera (plantain press) is used to flaten the rounds as well as to tenderize them. Made of solid South American hard-wood and is 8 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" deep. Made in Columbia.

I bought this tostonera to make deep filled tostones it is good but the little screw can be stronger oher wise its great
