Acnevir Adult Acne & Redness Relief Gel, 0.75 Ounce

This is my savior for when I am having any redness or acne. This is the only treatment that helps me for those little jerks that are painful and under the skin and refuse to come to the surface! I just put a pin size amount on it a few times a day for about 2 days and poof, its gone!!! Another good thing to know is this treatment does not affect or breakdown any makeup. Some creams and treatments mess can ruin the look of your make up in the spot your treating- either by causing some crusting of skin due to drying out or breaking down the foundation bc of oils in the ingredients. Acnevir does not do any of that, IT JUST WORKS! IT WORKS WELL AND WORKS QUICKLY! I use it a few times a week on a few spots and my last tube lasted me for about 14 months. I just received my new tube and for anyone that is wondering just because the box and tube looks different don't worry the company didn't mess with the perfection inside, its the exact same!

I've been using this product for several weeks now and can say I won't buy it again. The only reason it got 2 stars is because it did not dry my skin like the acme meds for teenagers, and it did help reduce the redness. However, all it does is dry up the pimples AFTER they appear. It does not prevent future break-outs. I don't know about you, but what I was hoping for was a product that dried up what was there and prevented them from coming back. Also, you have to use it 3 times a day to get the desired affect. If you forget, you'll notice the difference in how long it takes to clear up the pimple.

Works far better on my skin than any benzoyl peroxide products. Im 26 and still have really bad acne especially on my cheeks. I put this on every day twice a day. It has aloe in it so it doesn't over dry and it doesn't bleach out your clothes like other products. It doesn't work quite intensely as some benzoyl peroxide spot treatment but I still use this over that. They stopped carrying this at my walmart so I started buying on here. Wish it came in a bigger tube!

I can't find Acnevir in stores near me, but it has been a total lifesaver. I was about to go on vacation and had 6 days till my plane departed. I had a terrible flare-up and as someone who suffered from cystic acne, I was in a great deal of pain. I was desperate to try anything and although the packaging was deterring, I picked this up at a local Walmart out of desperation. By day 4 my acne was almost gone. I was shocked because nothing had ever worked for me. I continued to use this product through my vacation and had little to no acne. I continued to use this product for about a year, but within the first few months, my acne scars faded. My family started to notice and I began to recommend this product to other acne sufferers. Their acne soon cleared up as well. If you are tired of living with painful and unsightly acne take the jump and buy this product. It will change your life.

I love the product. It actually works on my adult acne. I was buying it locally. I do not like the higher price because it will be obsolete soon.

I read all the positive reviews so I decided to purchase it. Personally experience I had no such luck. Didn't help reduce the size or the redness.

I'm 33, and get breakouts down my jawline. They've been getting worse lately, so I thought I'd branch out. Reviews seemed okay so I gave it a shot. At first, all was well. The redness seemed soothed, and I wasn't getting new breakouts. Then I started to notice that if I put on moisturizer over the acnevir that there would be an aroma. Slight. But there was definitely something. The longer I had it, more than a month now, it's been gaining potency in the smell department. I don't think I can even use it anymore!

I never had acne until I was about 24 and was quite devastated To suddenly be dealing with something that is supposedly a teenager problem.at 28 I went on accutane which did nothing other than make my hair fall out.in my 30's I began to use differin gel which worked wonders but after losing my insurance, it became to expensive to continue its use. At about 40 my acne got dramatically better with just an occasional breakout here and there but last year at 42 it seemed once again that I was suffering with at least one or two zits every day. I've used everything otc and this is the only product that with daily use has kept my face clear. Nearly nine months without a single breakout. I know everyone is different unable to find this in stores anymore I decided to try Amazon and of course they have it. As I said it may not work for everyone but after suffering with adult acne for nearly 20 years this is the only thing that does the trick. The key is being consistent. I use it morning and night and I haven't had one breakout in over a year. I would recommend this to anyone who just can't seem to get rid of stubborn adult acne.
