The pump was already unscrewed when it was delivered and the sticky liquid spilled over the other items inside the box. Super messy, wasteful and quite an inconvenience cleaning up.

Love how smooth and creamy this soap is and it’s very gentle on my dry, sensitive skin! Somehow despite its thicker consistency it still gets sudsy which is impressive and is so nice for feeling like it’s actually cleaning as well ad moisturizing! I’m not totally loving the scent - it’s not bad. It’s just not good either…? I know it’s supposed to be unscented but everything still has a bit of a smell even when unscented and this one just isn’t my favorite.

The label of this bottle is appealing. I've been using it for a couple of days, and my skin does have a radiance as advertised on the label. The pump of the container is really great and consistent when it comes out. The only drawback that I would say (and I'm being really nitpicky here) is the smell. There is no chemical aroma, but there is the natural ingredients smell that will linger when you start lathering, and as someone with a sensitive nose, it bothered me a little at first. After the second wash, I didn't mind it as much, though. Just to put that out there for anyone who puts smell as an important part of their body washes.

Initial Review: 11/29/2025 Product: The Brightener Vitamin C Body Wash I purchased 2 at 50% off for the Black Friday sale and they came “open”. They were not locked close or sealed in anyway. One of them has obviously signs of leaking and the levels in both bottles were not the same. I tried to do an exchange but Amazon only gave the options of return or partial refund of $1.20. If I returned, I would have to buy at full price & not get the sale price. -1.5 stars. I used a little to wash my hands when I tried to lock the containers. I have hard water and washing hands with this body wash was a pleasant experience. It lathers well with water but is not a good “dry soap”. When I rubbed it on my hands without water it felt like it absorbed into my skin and it wasn’t until I added water that it was able to spread better. It didn’t dry my hands out and they didn’t feel tight either. If it wasn’t winter, I would not have needed hand lotion. I am looking forward to use it as a body wash with my African sponge. Since it has a pH of 5.00-5.75; I have hard water & skin’s pH should be between 4.5-5.5; this will not mess with the acid mantle of your skin and will balance it back down if you have alkaline environment (7.5+ pH). Based on ingredients/marketing it should be a cleanser & treatment (if it stays on for 2-5 min) in the bathing routine. I will test it over the next couple of weeks and update the review.
