I absolutely LOVE smoked mussels and every Christmas I treat myself to a couple of these tins. They are enough to cover a couple of pieces of sourdough toasted and drizzled with some of the oil. Lovely! They are not cheap, hence I only buy them as a treat. You can buy very good smoked mussels delivered in vacuum packs to put straight into the 'fridge but the quantities are bigger.
