It seems to work well. I have used it for 2 years now and feel as though my hair is a bit thicker after I have used it. I changed to a cheaper brand for a short time, but returned to this. I use a small amount at a time - pretty thin hair, so it does not take much. I also use the conditioner.

I really like this shampoo and conditioner. My hair is clean and scalp feels good and reduces.

Made my hair very soft and shiny and the fragrance is not overpowering. After only 3 uses, I do notice some fullness in the back. This is for shampoo and conditioner. Also, my hair doesn't seem to be falling out as much. Will purchase again.

If I got this shampoo from a drugstore at more standard shampoo prices, I would think it was pretty good. If I got this from an upscale beauty store, I’d be unimpressed after spending the extra money. But at this price point? No. Absolutely not. This feels entirely like making it ridiculously expensive will convince people it’s superior. It’s not superior. This is a decent shampoo that gets your hair clean, and that’s it. In my personal case, my fine, straight hair feels completely stripped after following the instructions and allowing this to sit. I need two rounds of conditioner to get my hair back to normal. If I rinse out as I would with any other shampoo, it leaves my hair clean like any normal shampoo. It has a light scent that is clean and a little floral. This shampoo doesn’t make my hair extra shiny, it doesn’t leave it silkier or fuller, and it doesn’t have an expensive scent that signals luxury. There is nothing about this shampoo that even begins to justify the price. If money isn’t an issue and spending it makes you feel special, then OK. You do you! I’m just not of that mindset. I expect objectively tangible results and that’s not what I got.

First picture is February and second picture is September. I started using ACTIIV in March. I was skeptical that a natural product could help your hair grow faster, but I actually noticed a significant difference in rate of hair growth/lengthening when using the ACTIIV renew treatment shampoo and conditioner compared to using normal shampoos and conditioners. It is possible that the product does not work for every hair growth issue, but I had healthy thick hair that I just wanted to grow longer faster than my natural growth rate and it worked for this issue. My hair stagnated and stopped lengthening a few inches below my chin and looked awkward on my face, and I barely noticed a difference after 3 months of regular products. After starting the ACTIIV products 6 months ago, my hair is now 3 inches below my collarbone.

Returned, way too small for the cost.
