FYI, permanent screw holes in your amp if you're ok with that...
This is not a clamp, to mount a mic you need to put screw holes in your amp. Just FYI...

Dig it!
I really like having my mic attached to my amp. So nice to be able to move it without having to re-mic every time.I haven't used live yet, as the one show I had it at the sound guy preferred to use his already set up boom mic rig. Understandable for "time" sake, however when I realized that my cab wasn't facing in towards center-stage after the show started, I couldn't move it. I WOULD have been able to had he used my AmpClamp.

Don’t buy
The metal part that has the mic clip is fine. The piece that you attach to the bottom of your amp is cheap plastic and broke when I tried to move it to another spot on the amp. If they made this with a metal instead of plastic bottom it would be fine. So, if you have to move it at all, it may likely break like mine did (even though I was really careful).

Obviously made on a Friday afternoon.
It took five days to just ship it which suggests they didn't have it in stock but it arrived just fine. The one thing that stumped me was how light, thin and just 'basically' finished it was. For $30+ a cheap metal pipe could have been made a little beefier. Someone will copy this and make it better. If it's highly regarded by touring & recording professionals then I'm fine with it but are we talking about the same versions ? This just seems flimsy.PROS: I can see how this is a space and time saver. Set up is easy and the overall mechanics are brainless.CONS: Long ship time. Thin mic clip threads. The pot metal adjusting collar (used to shorten the length between the pipe and the mic clip) is CHEAP with a capital CHEAP. I can't get the mic clip to seat perfectly straight or even tight enough to feel confident that it won't droop under the weight of the mic. I can see a mic cable pulling this in any direction except where it belongs.Overall thin pipe with less than stellar "clamp" construction. The attachment dove tail plate is ABS and should last. The set I got has some play in the joint. The screws may be long enough but aren't strong enough IMO to really keep this in place especially if you have a cab covered in carpet or a "Road Ready" Mesa style cab.UPDATED: First gig with it and so far it's holding up to it's own praises. Feels solid enough to last and it's low profile does help in cleaning up the stage of extra stands. I never bumped it the entire gig and I stand fairly close to the cab. The plate does hold it in place well but the collar as I mentioned above doesn't hold the mic in place, I'll need to find an actual piece of metal to fix that. Overall I'm happy with it but it's certainly not worth the cost.

Good concept, but requires screw holes to be drilled.
This is pretty nifty. I would definitely get the adapter for the flat faced mics, such as the e609. But, I would see if you could mount this to an amp stand instead of your amp first. If you don't have a problem drilling into your amp, then go for it. It is much more sturdy than the cab grabber. I've had a cab grabber's elastic band inside wear out over time. Except for the hole drilling, I'm actually very down with this concept. I wish they would come out with one that had a clamp instead. Plus, then you would not have to dedicate this to just one cabinet.
