LCZTN UPF 50+ Sun Protection Cap Wide Brim Fishing Hat with Face & Neck Flap

I use this hat all the time when I go outside. I love that it keeps the gnats out of my face and ears. I really appreciate the sun protection. I live at 5000 feet elevation and UV rays are stronger up here. I recommend buying it, I will buy another one in the near future.

It saved me during a fishing trip at high altitude in thin air and bright sun. Very comfortable and kept the sun AND bugs off of me so I could concentrate on trout. Good product.

Does the job it was intended for. Very light weight, no wrinkles, complete sun protection on head and neck, color doesn't fade and durable. Does have room for improvement though. The face mask can become a hazard on windy days and is a nuisance when the work requires looking down. For manual labor (gardening, sweeping, raking, etc) the mask is always blocking your line of sight. That being said, at the time of this review we are required to wear facemasks in public, so it's actually a good feature by allowing better air flow when hard at work. *Work is outdoors away from all other people, so don't judge ;)*Satisfied and would purchase again

I have a big head and it is very hard to find something that fits. But this design is very flexiable and great for yardwork or travelling.

The fact this hat fits my big head (right @ 24" diameter) comfortably is reason enough for 5 stars. The hat is light weight and the mesh allows the breeze to come through. I can't attest to the SPF rating but I can tell you that I have not been sun-burned on my head or face while wearing it so that says something. I have used the back flap and it works well, just took some getting used to. Haven't tried the face flap, no real need yet. I know it snaps on and fits though. The chin strap works well, hat has not blown off. I use it primarily for mowing (riding and pushing) but have also used it on leisurely bike rides around the neighborhood and it has stayed on. The only gripe, and it is purely superficial, is that the opening for your head is not exactly on the same axis at the brim. The hole is slightly rotated a few degrees off from the brim. Does not effect the functionality at all, just my OCD. So far the hat appears fairly durable but only time will tell.

I wanted to love this. I am the anti-sun lady. I was excited af when I found this sun hat. I didn’t know a concept so beautiful existed. I don’t think I have a particularly small head, but this was hilariously over-sized and I looked like I was wearing a haz mat suit. The hat part itself hugs your head like a skullcap— there is no structure to it. It’s incredibly comfortable, but impractical for me.If I had to describe the material, I would say it’s like an indoor kid’s pop up tent. Having material so thin allowed the rim to drop in my line of sight and I was likewise swallowed by the face guard. This made doing anything leaning forward a challenge because it would cover my eyes. Please be careful; this could be hazardous.The hat came with instructions, which at first I found hilarious. There are way more parts than a hat should have. Don’t be stubborn like me! You need the instructions! I disassembled the hat piece by piece as the day wore on. The extra got in the way more than helped. In the end, the features didn’t work out for me.

Used this thing in Florida for a few weeks during the summer while I was working outside. Kept the sun off of me very well. I could feel the difference with and without, and made me significantly more comfortable while working. The neck flap is a life saver, and easily what makes this so useful, but it's UV reflection, lightweight, and breath ability make me feel comfortable saying it's a high quality, especially for the price. the chin strap works great, easy to adjust, and never had an issue.I did not use the face mask at all, but it does feel comfortable. I just can't personally vouch for that for long periods.

I consider this kind of hat a must-have if you're working any sort of time in the hot sun. This hat got me through the 90+ degree weather fine, the mesh on the hat is breezy, and the hat fits wide enough for big-headed people like me.I like that the front and back are detachable for when I'm doing work facing to/away from the sun. Even with both sides on the air flow is still decent enough to work. Definitely saves my skin from sun burn and has great coverage. Great price, is packable enough to stuff into a small bag, and does the job. Would recommend.
