How do I get extra battery

I contacted Deerc USA by email and they quickly responded that the battery for this particular boat was not available on Amazon. However, they are sending me replacement batteries (I purchased 2 boats) which will take between 15-25 days to arrive in the Us.

There is a switch on the remote that reverses the speed direction. In reverse the speed IS less than the forward speed. If you flip the switch and it has no affect, then you have a problem. It could be the remote or the ESC in the boat.

Does Seaweed affect this or does it just skim over the top ?

Depends on the sea weed. The prop will cut through a lot of sea weed, but if it's really thick and on the surface, It may get stuck. The rudder (3) stick below the hull (so they work well) and it exposes them to debris in the water. This thing is fast. If you hit anything at 30mph, you are going to break a rudder, prop, shaft, etc. just like a real boat.
