The 5 stars are for the 20 years I used it and it was great. A few years back they changed the formula or the bottle spout. My hair became orange on top. Also it became very difficult to use and instead of parting my hair as the directions say, I just did it randomly on my head and kept going because once you stopped, it wouldn't come out of the bottle. What a struggle! I tried L'Oreal and it works fine. I switched to Medium Ash Blonde 7.5A and the orange faded.

I BOUGHT IT THIS JAN. BUT I JUST TRIED IT TODAY. I REALY LIKE IT.I HAVE BEEN DIY-DYING MY GREY AND VERY HARD HAIR FOR OVER 7 YEARS WITH MANY OTHER PRODUCTS. THIS IS THE BEST FOR MY HAIR SO FAR.EASY TO APLLY AND CONTROL WITHOUT ANY MESS YOUR HOME,REASONABLE PRICE AND GREAT COLOR, NICE GLOVES FOR EASY HANDING,A LITTLE BIT SMELL BUT I CAN LIVE WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM.I SUGGEST YOU GIVE IT A TRY.

This review is for this specific shade and recent inventory of the product that I received a few days ago. I LOVE the new vegan formulation. I left the Nutrisse hair conditioner on for a few minutes before rinsing in cool to slightly warm water and my hair is incredibly smooth and shiny! This shade also covers grays better than another Nutrisse shade that I used previously. I think the color looks a bit too dark (same as with most boxed hair color, in my opinion) for the first several days but after a few washes it will look more natural.

The pigment on the dye held up.

I recently tried this hair color tint, and I’m beyond impressed! The color is vibrant and rich, giving my hair a beautiful, fresh look. verry good product. great for the price it actually protects your hair because it brings beside the color and the bleach a oil that protect your hair and awesome conditioner that i love after color treatment to hydrate your hair. the only downside is that it doesn't cover gray that much. i was using other brand but my hair use to get brittle and rough after coloring.

WOW! Not only easy to use but the color was PERFECT!I’ve never done it myself, but due to high prices, I thought I would give it a try.My hair feels sooo nice and looks like a pro did it. BUY THIS hair color brand.

I have used this for years. Good color for dark brown hair.
