This marvelous magnetic dollhouse play set is adorable! There is a sort of joystick or knob that moves two tiny dolls around. They can go over a bridge, through the first floor of the shop, into the house and in bed, back out and past a pond, in and up a tree, down a slide, and past a little garden. The dolls can be moved about without the magnet using one's hands. The knob can be used to make the garden, the bunny, and the ducks move a bit as well. I ordered this play set for the gbabies, ages 2 to 4.5. There are some things that could make this a better play set for them. The little ones really enjoy the music and light features, yet both require batteries. The joystick catches and doesn't always move smoothly enough for little hands, which can cause some frustration for the little ones. The Lollipop Candy Store items don’t really fit with the candy shop theme. The magnetized figures are mini and easy to misplace, and the magnet can only be used to move one of the two dolls at a time. The dolls can push the swing, but cannot sit on it. Also- is this made of plastic? Overall, this is a cute and fun toy for the gbabies. They do need supervision with small pieces and occasional assistance.

This playhouse is so cute. The lights and music make it an engaging toy. The pieces are smaller than I expected, but a lot of thought went into planning each room. There is some assembly of parts required which took about 30 minutes. The magnetic movement of the people is a fun feature, but is limited to a contained area on on the bottom level of the playhouse. In my opinion, 3-6 year olds would enjoy this playhouse the most.

This is a whimsical magnetic dollhouse. The dolls can be moved throughout the dollhouse. The cool lights and music make the toy more enjoyable.

This toy has a magnet in the base, and you control the movement of the figure by moving the interior magnet with a joystick. PROS: - It’s a unique and interesting idea with some cute features. - You can play with it without using the music and light, so no batteries are required for play. CONS: - The joystick that controls the magnet can be difficult. It can catch/hitch and mostly doesn't provide fluid movement. No way will my 3-year-old granddaughter be able to send the figures down the slide or get them into the candy store. - The fixtures for the Lollipop Candy Store aren’t store fixtures and don’t make sense. - The 2 magnetized figures are very small, and if lost, the toy is useless as designed. - Only one figure can be used with the magnet at a time, however, the other figure can still be moved around by hand. - Figures can push the swing but can’t swing on it because there is no magnet in the swing. That’s a missed opportunity. - Instructions weren’t good, but operation can be figured out. PROBLEM SPECIFIC TO US: - We received 2 toilet tops instead of 1 top and 1 base, so we can’t install it. - We received the house with brown roofs which could be a brighter, more appealing color.

Got this for my 3 year old niece for her birthday. She loves it! I definitely recommend!

It requires a little bit of snapping together and the colors are a little different than those on the diagram, so heads up. It's a very neat little miniature landscape with two semi furnished little houses and great for someone who likes miniatures or Tomy like toys (kawaii and mechanical).. The maneuvering of the handle though to achieve the magnetic action would be too difficult for a young child to do on her own.
