Perfect upgrade. High quality. Great seller.
I recently upgraded hardware in my bathroom: I added "rain can" heads (Delta 52841). While they are a really upgrade, the old shower head was designed to be stood in front of, w water coming down/toward you. Rain cans are designed to be stood under, with water coming ... well, like rain!My bath has two facing showers: on the right is standard 12" straight pipe w 3" right-angle drop. While it looks nice, the in-shower feel is a little cramped: the head is just a couple inches above me (I am 6' tall, exactly) and it's a bit too close to the wall. The Purelux High-Arc solves both problems! If you look at the shower on the left (17" High Arc) you can see that not only is it 5" further out from the wall, but it is also about 6" higher. That makes all the difference: the shower is comfortable, and the rain falls from above.Add to that the overall quality--kit includes a roll of standard teflon tape and contemporary round flange--and the great packaging (prevents any nicks to the chrome finish) and this is a super value.NOTE: I am installing the same pipe on the right side, too: thought the photo made for a great visual on the difference that the High-Arc pipe actually makes.

Rain shower + shower handle: the solution is (finally) here but you need more parts
For decades I've been dreaming about having two things at the same time: 1) A rain shower, the bigger the better; 2) A shower handle. After many trips to Home Depot / Ace Hardware and many orders on Amazon, you can see in the attached pictures the end result. Below all the parts that you need to accomplish the same thing:- The shower arm extension listed here (Purelux High Arc Shower Arm).- Brass Pipe Coupling 1/2 in FIP female-to-female. Buy an hexagonal one that you can use a wrench to tighten. You won't be able to tighten a round / pipe-shaped one because the wrench won't be able to grab it.- Delta Faucet U4996 Shower Arm and Flange.- A shower handle with hose.- A shower handle holder that you can glue to the wall.- A rain shower head, as big as you like, 12-inch is what I used.- Delta Shower Arm Diverter for Hand Shower. Do not buy any other one! Do not buy a 3-way, they are all to fragile to hold the weight of the shower head + arm.- A lot of teflon tape to avoid leaks.- An adjustable wrench.- A long and strong screwdriver to unscrew the original shower arm from your wall pipe (they tend to be tight, your bare hands will probably not be able to unscrew it).Notes:- My shower handle holder is too high because at first I tried to go with the 3-way diverter, so I could have rain shower and shower handle at the same time. The solution I'm describing here uses a simple, strong and solid diverter, so you either have the rain shower or the shower handle at any given time (i.e. you can't have both turned on at the same time).- If you are able to find a SOLID 3-way diverter that can do the job, please leave a comment. By solid I mean it has to be a single metal piece, like the diverter I listed here.- If you were able to succeed, please leave a comment here. This is not easy but the end-result is well worth it!

Terrific addition to rain shower head
I bought this to use with my New Moon rain shower head (https://www.amazon.com/Showerhead-Ultra-Thin-Experience-NearMoon-Stainless/dp/B083V61CWY?pd_rd_w=C9pO7&pf_rd_p=a92e0124-cfa8-4f1e-82b5-a4a348d97008&pf_rd_r=66PWVC4SASYHKP0NR7ZR&pd_rd_r=8cb421a9-0241-421d-853e-db95e79306bb&pd_rd_wg=jBY81&pd_rd_i=B083V61CWY&ref_=pd_bap_d_rp_1_1_t). It feels very solid and is well finished. It lifts the rain show head to an ideal height. Bottom line it looks and works great. I also highly recommend you watch a video if you haven't removed a shower pipe before as getting this part wrong could really ruin your day. This part only seems simple. I watched "How to Remove a Stuck Shower Arm Pipe for a New Shower Head" by jeffostroff on YouTube. Never met that man, but I love him!

JUST WHAT IS NEEDED
First let me thank NIO I used the setup on his review to do mine and it worked great the only thing I changed from his is I did not use the Brass pipe coupling because its a different color from everything else, instead I used the "Metal Stainless Steel Pipe Fitting, Coupling, NPT 1/2 x NPT 1/2 Inch Female Pipe" it is the same color as the other pipes so looked uniform, I am also using the 16 inch rainfall shower-head its big and reasonably heavy. I used a chain to hold it up not because I had to but initially before reading NIO's setup I had a different setup with the 12 inch shower-head and the adjustable arm and with the weight of the water in it, the shower-head swung down and hit my daughter in the head it swung slowly so no injuries so out of an abundance of caution and switching to a bigger 16 in head I decided to add the extra safety. For those who worry if a 16 inch shower-head will fit yes it will, you just have to tilt the ball joint on the Shower-head so that when you turn the shower-head to put it on its slanted once you finish then you straighten it, if you try to turn the head while it is straight it will hit the shower arm.

As Advertised
This product arrived relatively quickly, in perfect condition. Ot was as advertised by the seller, the color was a great match. There's nothing really to dislike. I gave it only four stars for sturdiness and value for money because I haven't had it very long.

VERY NICE PIECE VERY NICE PRICE
I needed to extend the shower head further into the large bath tub installed with the bathroom remodel. I had purchased a Moen polished brass trim package for the shower and tub and the shower arm with that kit was a standard size. Also the cover for where the shower arm meets the wall that was part of the Moen kit was plastic. It was not a high quality polished brass metal like the rest of that kit. The Purelux seemed like the best fit when I looked on Amazon. It had the longest reach and the arch matched some of the lighting fixtures used in our remodel. I was very happy to see the cover sent with the Purelux arm was metal and substantial. It matched all the rest of the various polished brass fixtures we used very nicely. I am Very happy with this purchase.
