Necklace was a lot larger in diameter than I thought! Looks a little bit large on our 10-year old daughter, but still very cool. It is made of metal with a metal chain, so that's nice - it's not cheap plastic or spray-painted. The rings do NOT turn by turning the little knobs on the outer edge (like in the movies), but the rings do spin and rotate if you push them with your finger. Not a show-stopper for us; it's still very similar to the movie. The sand timer in the middle actually works too, although it takes about 1 second for the sand to run through. :-) All in all, very pleased for the cost. I know there are tons of options out there and some are very cheap, and you're not sure what you're getting. I was pleasantly surprised. Would buy again.

My 7 and 9 year old daughters got these Time Turner necklaces for Christmas. They are both obsessed with Harry Potter, and they were so excited to open them. The necklaces came well packaged. They arrived in a red velvet pouch inside of a pretty black box. The necklaces feel substantial and not cheaply made. The clasp is very easy to fasten and unfasten (my daughters can do it themselves!) and we haven't had any trouble with it falling off. This has become a favorite piece of jewelry for both of my girls. They wear their necklaces out regularly and always receive tons of compliments. The only thing I am not totally happy about with the necklace is that the sand passes through the hour glass almost instantaneously. It would be nice if it worked more like an hour glass where the sand slowly trickles through.

Gave to a coworker and friend for her birthday and she loved it. The clasp was great to slip on and off and the chain long enough to fit her neck. Would probably be short or feel restricting to plus size women as I am one myself and it was a little snug on me. She is petite though and it worked great. The knobs not turning didn’t even cross her mind when she saw how easily it spun. We were able to travel back in time and see things from our youth and enjoyed every minute of the way. The magic is powerful, so spin carefully.

My granddaughter wanted a "time turner" necklace and this was the nicest one I found for a reasonable price. Everything about it is great, except the chain is quite short. She's only 10 yrs old so hopefully it won't be a problem. It comes in a lovely pouch, inside a nice black box, so it makes an impressive gift. I'm sure she'll love it. (This is NOT fine jewelry - it's very nice costume jewelry!)

Cute necklace. Went with the $20 instead of the $10, but there was extra glue around the sandglass. Vendor sent an email to check in and when I sent a pic to show them (and I still planned to keep), they also sent a replacement (no extra glue!). So for me, worth it for the price. For one, maybe not.

It is a very becoming product, but the person I gave it to claims they can not wear it because there is nowhere to hook it to stay on the neck. I have been asked to either get it fixed or exchange it. I returned it and actually received 2 replacements! My daughter said she wants to give the extra one to a friend. Thanks.

The Time Turner necklace is lovely. I bought it for my adult daughter who is Harry Potter potty! Lol! It doesn't spin by the little knobs on the side, but each ring does spin independently, and very smoothly, with help. All rings lay flat when worn. The clasp doesn't feel like real metal, but I could be wrong? Overall I'm very pleased and know my daughter will love it. Also, I just bought her the Harry Potter tv remote control wand, & the Deathly Hallows necklace!

This is fine for a child or someone who is not picky. But if you are big fan of HP, you may want to consider spending more. The necklace as a whole is fairly sturdy, it looks fine from a distance, and all the rings rotate. However, the inscription on the inner ring was offset — one side said “you have to do my use and value” and the other side said “unto you are gauged by what”. If you see my pictures, the inner ring is on the bottom of the first picture and the top of the second picture.
