The seller (NAUTICALMART) was very accommodating and quick to answer questions and provide assistance. I had some issues regarding when I would need it, and they made sure it arrived with time to spare (though they did increase the price for me to do so, before lowering it). However, the shirt's riveting is rather lacking, and many rivets fell out of the rings, and some rings just had a hole on the side not allowing for any rivet at all. I am currently seeing what can be done about this, and have contacted the seller, I will update my review as needed.The washer had much better riveting and there were no such flaws.Also, the sleeves are not full sleeves. They are short sleeves about a foot long and extremely large (picture included, with ruler for reference, I apologize for the poor quality).I have contacted the seller and will update my review if there is any change.Edit: they have offered to send another piece if I buy something from them again.

Package showed up with ~6 loose rivetes. by the 2nd day 2 full rings had broken loose from simply putting in on 4 times. Many of rivets do not look to be peened over and are just pushed through the flattened rings. Mail fits well for both myself and my wife. i am 5'9 150lb and the sleeves extend to my elbows and the shirt extends down to just above my knees; the neck is very wide and i had to put some leather between the rings so that it didn't rest only on the edges of my shoulders. I would not trust this for SCA as even just putting on the mail i have seen rings pop; so i would not want to see what a weapon can do to it.The shirt that i received does not have any Washers as advertised, there are only riveted rings, which isn't a huge deal but having solid washers adds a lot of strength to a mail shiftWhen I brought this issue up to NAUTICALMART this was their reply: "Sometimes some rings are fixed tightly and when we stretch first time it happened for 4-10 rings. Now it will be same and no ring will be open."From this response I would not advise purchasing from them as their products are expected to break without any abnormal use

I purchased the chainmail for a LOR themed wedding which is overkill but I also wanted the real deal and not some fakey costume. It took awhile to arrive and the box was beat up but the product inside was ok. The chainmail was pretty slimey wet from the preservative oil/fluid or was possibly damp from being shipped all the way from India. It fit perfectly and looks awesome and is exactly what I was looking for. I ordered the Shirt, Hood, and pants and all match.

This hauberk is actually pretty great. Just a fair warning for anyone getting this who don't already know. The hauberk comes oiled, and theres a lot of it. Itll take a LONG while to get it all of it off.

The overall look, quality, and size are as described. I'm not sure if I would use this for full-contact combat, but it will suit my needs as a cosplayer and Crusader-era enthusiast just fine. Pleased with what I got for the price.

Smaller than advertised size. Their XL is really more of a large. With this kind of garment, real needs to sizing it 10" more than stated size in order to fit. In short, if you wear a 38" chest you need a 48" sized mail shirt, a 48" chest needs to be close to 58" to easily fit you.

The product is as described, 16 gauge steel flat ring links, that are 4 in 1 and riveted. Great buy for the overall product, however you'll have to alter the size of the neck hole and do a bit of altering near the skirting to allow for better fitting. Regardless of that, great buy for the cost

Fast shipping and excellent customer service arrived to the US within a week and was exactly as advertised. Some of the other reviews mentioned broken rings. Mine came fully intact and oiled and withstood blows from steel weapons, I will write a follow up review after using it in combat a few times. But overall would reccomend especially for the price

First off the seller is amazing will buy from again, the courier on the other hand was a problem, but the parcel did arrive.And for the hauberk it's not bad but the head opening was far too small and the shirt it self is a tad small, doesn't fit over my gambeson but it fits over a tunic, rings are really mild steel and bend and break with mild use, a few rivets loose but no biggie overall not bad 3 stars for the hauberk and and extra 2 for the seller.

This is a great product. I purchased it for a medieval knight cosplay i was doing for a convention. I knew it was going to be heavy, but wasn't prepared for JUST HOW HEAVY it was going to be, especially after 5+ hours of wearing it. If you are a cosplayer and are planning to buy this product, be prepared to do lots of strength training in it beforehand to prepare yourself for a full convention's worth of wearing it. Also cinch it over your belt to alleviate some of the weight on your shoulders, as chainmail is a shoulder killer!... or maybe i'm just weak. lol. Again, great product!

The shirt was as described and heavy. You would get tired wearing it all day at an event such as a convention, so have a place to sit to rest up occasionally. Well made although 2 links were broken but fixable. I would have liked an XXL version for more room for undergarments in chest area but this will fit my 6'4" 25 lb frame and 48" chest. The sleeves were a good length and lots of room for sleeve undergarments (Gambeson). It came slightly oiled which didn't take too long to clean up. Although I haven't worn it to any events yet, it seems very durable. Quite impressed overall and at a good price.

I admit it was my fault for falling for such an obviously low grade product, but the first thing I heard when I took it out of the box was the sound of links falling out of it. The steel is low quality and you can break it easily.I've seen better mails at similar pricepoints. If you're not willing to spend more money, get butted mail, don't try to find cheap riveted.

Amazing quality, amazing price. Comes drenched in oil so make sure you dry it off before you put it on which i didnt lol an also long hair needs a hood cause it gets caught. A couple broken links. Alotta loose links but you cant go wrong with that price. Arrived over a month late an the tape said it was inspected by canada customs
