Best fix for peeling leather
I tried this on a chair with peeling brown leather, I scraped as much of the peeling leather off as I could; there was a lot. I vacuumed and wiped it with a damp towel. Then I painted this product on. It was easy and dried very quickly. I wanted a darker shade of brown so i mixed in some black and applied another coat. I then finished it with a clear matte varnish and it still looks good months later. The matte varnish is not really matte, it's kind of shiny. It's not perfectly smooth because of but the cheap leather product that was peeling but chair looks remarkably good and is usable. You must buy the varnish or the color will rub off onto clothing. I would use this product on shoes or other leather items, as well.

Restores Leather to near new look
I applied this to our aging recliners and was amazed at the result. I was able to restore the leather so that the cracks and loss of leather dye were fixed and I was left with a shiny almost new looking leather recliner. This stuff works best on real leather, I tried it on that fake leather stuff with the thin layer that rubs off, but it didn't work as well on that stuff.

Excellent For “Faux” Leather Furniture
I used 3 of these acrylic paints (rich brown, black & matte finisher) to restore the two front panel sections of this leatherette chair. The result was phenomenal! The chair had been in storage for a long period of time and the two front panel sections were very “flakey”. I scraped off all the remaining leatherette and layered 5 or 6 coats of the paint plus the matte finish. Now it looks as good as new!! I highly recommend this product.

Covers up cat scratches!
They ruin all your furniture. I got a black kiwi shoe scuff for my black leather chairs and this for the brown leather couches and looks better than I expected. The cats didn't take long to scratch them again but it can be redone easily. Protip; I prefer to apply this with a sponge it works far better. My favorite is a silicone pot scrub pad as it holds just the right amount of this paint and is sturdy enough to do the job. I cut the pad into quarters as you don't want to soak an entire scrub pad and use up the bottle.

Great color but did not last
The color is absolutely gorgeous however I painted this onto faux leather and reupholstered our kitchen chairs. I waited longer than 5 days to let the paint cure and after a week of using the chairs the paint has rubbed off and the original color of the faux leather is coming thru

Fixed My Sad Old Couch
Super cool project I just finished up! I got this faux leather couch on Facebook (for free!) with leather damage. I did some research and found this leather paint that I thought would work well. Pealed all the gross leather off and repaired the couch with it. The results are amazing! Now, obviously, its not perfect, but it looks a hell of a lot better than before. It was super fun to do, and now I have paint to repair my couch if I ever need to. Heck yeah!! Here's some before and afters!I had to mix it with "Rich Brown" to get this color.

A Great Way To Repair Faux Leather
I like that this paint is on the thinner side, so you can better control coverage. I would recommend using a "Deglazer" from the same company before your begin your project. Otherwise, you may end up with a "rough" texture, even though the results are visually pleasing.
