As much as the reviews made these sound like they would be a struggle, we found them to fit our chairs perfectly. I really do think it deo nds on the brand of furniture as they would not work on some table feet. They worked perfectly for my needs to protect a new deck with some spares to keep on hand. Seem sturdy and effective. It's the luck of the draw as to how easily they work for you.

Must take inside and outside absolute measurements. Had to reorder but love the finished appearance with proper fit. Must be clean to install

The people who got these to work must be using them with brand new iron furniture. I’ve been trying to put them on an older set of wrought iron chairs for the past hour and not a single one has stuck. Small rubber mallet, tapping gently on alternating sides, sanding down the inside of the metal foot, nothing worked for me. I work in maintenance and always have to figure out fiddly things like this and I still gave up. The metal foot cups on my chairs do not look that bad, but trying to put these things on, you would think my chairs are utterly deformed. Returning these and looking for something with a better design. Only reason I have them 2 stars is the possibility that my chairs were the problem. But it shouldn’t be that finicky.
