The best? I couldn't say. I have them loaded in 2x18 yamaha club series and home built 1x18's copied from some basic sub cabinet. Both setups sound fine.

Q: Is there an optimal sealed box, or ported box dimensions specifically for these drivers, ( rvp18w8 )or am i ok to use standard calculations?

PERSONALLY I USE PORTED CABS ESPECIALLY FOR SUBS. YOU CAN USE MANY DIFFERENT DESIGNS AS LONG AS YOUR CAB IS PORTED EVEN REFLEX CABS.
