Lord, Teach Me To Study the Bible in 28 Days

I love this book!! I've used it a couple times to lead Bible studies with women. If you're considering doing or leading a Precept Bible study, start with this study first! It goes through many types of studying. The first time we did it in 28 days. A couple years later we did it again, but slowed it way down and went through it together (no homework) and discussed it. Either way is good! (Depends on how much people are willing to do homework.) Get this book!

It is a great book. I have done the actual 28 days with a friend on zoom and it was not intimidating and we learn a more functional and yet practical way to study the Word of God. Highly recommend it.

I have a bachelors degree in Bible. I know the languages. I study it daily and teach it multiple times a week. In Israel I took the Essene vow, to accurately handle the word of truth. I am going through this book with my two college age sons in order to help them grow in their skill set. This has been a very practical and in-depth study. If you submit to the homework she has you do, it will be a huge blessing for you. It will help you grow in your skill set. I have grown in my skill set going through this book. It has been a refresher on some things, and she hits a very balanced angle on things. unlike other comments, there was no hidden agenda other than that you would know how to study scripture for yourself. In this book you will study the book of Jonah and the book of Jude. It will really help you understand it.

So, I bought the How to Study Your Bible book from the same author and was kind of dreading to mark my bible and not see it done on the practical side before doing it.Since I bought this book for my kindle, I decided in the first exercises to make copies from the books in my bible and start by marking those copies.After some days doing it and seeing a few videos of people showing their marked bibles, I just convince myself that this was the way to go forward and proceed in marking my personal bible.Ok, after that initial dread or block I am happy to report, that together with the previous book and adding a notebook to do the charts and reflections, I started to be quite excited every day to pick up my bible and to go through one more chapter. It is, for me, a real changer of how to approach my daily bible study.I took out one star due to the price. I really appreciate the content and work done by the author of this book. But I do believe that everything that is done in bible study should be given for free or at the most minimal price possible as our Lord told us to do. In my opinion the price for the digital version should be quite lower to be afordable to the most people as possible.

Too complicated, doesn't help me at all. Pity.

This is the first study I have done using this method... I can't get enough of it! Once I start working on it, time just flys by! You will learn SO MUCH, from passages that you have read many times before!!! With this way of studying the Bible, it will come to life for you!I am now leading a Bible Study group & we are doing it!!!

Never done inductive bible study before and it was great! I had fun colouring in different words and noticed new things through this process even if it was a passage I was already familiar with
