I actually received one of these as a gift from a friend many years ago. It was a necessity in my day to day routine. I recently purchased this one because mine was wore out. Exactly the same. Absolutely perfect design that works so well just how it is. The spring is not too tough but tough enough to not stick to itself after every pass. Value for quality is on the mark. I have been doing my hair for 35+ years. I can honestly say if you are going to flat iron/press your hair or someone else’s, this clasp brush Is a must!!!!!💡I have purchased three brushes of this same material in the last 30 years( yep, that's how long they last!). Using this clasp brush vs. a regular comb immensely speeds up the process Of doing your hair and is so convenient!!💡Because these clasp brushes are made of metal, I can Also, use it to REST MY CROC FLAT IRON while I divide my next section of hair.💡; They are almost indestructible, well 💭🤔 unless you drop it while getting out of the car, not realizing it, and run it over with your vehicle. In that situation, the brush will brake I promise, (the reason I purchase the third one ), but other than that, you are Good !😎💡 Cleaning: Since it is made of thin metal, you can clean/wash it with regular liquid soap/shampoo &water, you can dry it with a towel or blow dryer if in a rush. This is exactly what I was looking for this little brush is fantastic and I really mean it . It straightens my hair even better than an iron and is much healthier for it to . I dry my hair/ put in smoothing mouse/ section hair/ use it like a regular iron but use my dryer to dry mouse. Mouse drys fast..and I am on my way. I am going to buy more of them to keep on hand.you really should buy l and try it out. It actually work better than an iron. Curly hair and frizz done gone.

I bought this in November of 2022 amd have used it multiple times. I really love the smoothness it helps create ironing out and blow drying my hair, however I recently was using it as I always had and a small plastic piece broke off. It was still useable so I kept it. One day i went to grip a small section of hair and the brush exploded in my hand. Springs and pieces everywhere. I’ve never dropped it have been rough with it. That was strange but it’s priced reasonably enough for me to order another one.
