The Village Press Extra Virgin New Zealand Barnea Olive Oil, 34 oz, Recyclable Carton With Tap

I use olive oil for the making of my egg "omelet" in the microwave. Have for years. But I didn't like the taste of regular olive oil with eggs so I bought the "light-tasting" olive oil. Okay, but it started going rancid before the bottle was empty. Tried refrigeration - wouldn't pour. Eventually a niece suggested Barnea Olive Oil. I searched and found some at Amazon. From New Zealand! Read many references on the Internet. Tried it. Although it's expensive, thanks to the air-tight container it lasts a long time - so, not so expensive after all. And the taste: exquisite! I like it. Slightly buttery. Slightly peppery. And, it actually smells like olives. Very nice. I've bought several since my first purchase and intend to continue. Highly recommended.

Much stronger taste than I expected, but it's ok.

I always buy this brand. Its the closet to what I have become accustomed to while in Germany. Olive Oil should be protected in a dark container and it should not be filtered. This one is a bit filtered but the protection is spot on and I cannot complain about neither. The size and the convenience of use makes this my only olive oil that I will use. If I find one that is completely filtered, then I will probably move on to that one. In the meantime, this is the one. I love it!!

Really nice tasting olive oil at a fair price. The bag in a box is great as it keeps the light and oxygen from spoiling your oil. I use this as my "back up" evoo as I am a member of an evoo club that has fresh pressed olive oil shipped automatically but sometimes run out before the next bottles.

I have bought this a couple times, and its always delicious. My box generally arrives busted apart, but a bit of clear packing tape patches it right up.I used to live in New Zealand and I always love getting products from "home". :) So I was super happy when we found Shopping Moa on Amazon!

I work for an olive oil company, and i would not buy this or any other product if it does not say who it is certified by. You're garunteed to not get a high quality product.

This olive oil was recommended by a friend. Received it today. Tried some right away. It is absolutely outstanding. Not any olive oil I've ever tasted before. Tasted pure and clean, if I can describe it that way. Yummm!

Love the taste of this olive oil and the light/oxygen sealed packaging!I will eat this with a spoon and a light sprinkling of salt it's so good. But it certainly is pricey.
