Made in the USA from a compound of acrylic and liquid inlay, this is a fine material for making your custom knife handle. Make sure your tools are sharp and drill slowly to avoid tear out (it's helpful to have a scrap piece to receive the bit when drilling). Each item is selected for its unique inlay pattern, and is one of a kind. The four blocks shown in the image have had one side lightly buffed to illustrate the diversity of appearance among different blocks. Product sold is one single block, without this buffing.

Looks cool not worth the money or time though.
The handle scales came very rough cut with no straight sides uneven thickness throughout. The material had chips along the edges and surface cavities across the face I had to remove a lot of material to get down to some usable pieces but the acrylic was so brittle while I was drilling the lanyard hole with a fresh drill bit it chipped of a big piece of the pommel end and rendered them useless I won’t use these ever again. The micarta and g10 I have gotten from Texas knife maker supplies is great but these just sucked they could look cool but never would be good for something you plan on using.

Beautiful materials
Fast shipping great product ordered couple different sets of scales using the acrylic material for the first time and once cleaned up all of them turned out absolutely beautiful.. great product. Christmas presents for the family, and everyone that laid eyes on them loved the handle material. would highly recommend, and will be buying again very soon!

Poor surface finish requires more work from you.
These parts look like they fought a cheese grater and lost. For the price there are other options that don't require extra work that look just as good. I purchased two sets of scales, both different colors, all of them have the same surface. Iwill not be ordering from this company again.

Beautiful but needs prep work before use
The colors are vibrant and stunning. However my scales (I’ve ordered 13 sets) came in a variety of conditions. Some were perfectly smooth on both sides and ready to mount. Others came jagged and rough and had to be sanded flat before they were able to be used. Looked like they had been cut with a worn out bandsaw that’s was mounted on a moving horse.

highly fragile
was removing the scales after some lite shaping and attaching to the knife blank. went to peen the brass pin a little more and upon the first lite tap, the whole piece shattered. and this particular one is now sold out. have to figure out a different color blue for that knife blank.

Do not match, different colors. Don't be fooled by sweet pictures
Two pieces that I received are completely different colors. I understand that each piece is unique but they should at least match. Also one piece had a some bubble defects

like peanut brittle. not for normal everyday knife use.
"may break if thrown on concrete floor" should say "do not look at it to hard".I'm sure you can successfully epoxy and pin it to a full tang knife with a metal butt and then grind and polish it to shape in place but it's never going to survive as screws on scales like a Benchmade barrage uses.

know what your doing and do not rush...this is sketchy trash for what i paid for it!! never again!!
garbage, these are very brittle and not what I would consider quality scales. Maybe if it was a made in China knife...perhaps. However they looked amazing till it shattered while shaping.
