These kits are great!! Daughter got one a few years back for Christmas, we kinda forgot about it. Till one day we were looking for something to do, and refund it! OMG this is so much fun, and helps learn. So as it sits now, we've boght meant of these expansion kits.

This has been much fun and educational for our 7 year old granddaughter. Much better than her old marble machine. Gravitrax makes us think about physics and momentum.

Nephew was so stoked to receive this for his bday. I got him the starter set 4 years ago for Christmas and he still loves to add and build with it.

Good stuff to expand the set, but pay close attention to the pictures of what is included. A large box and large price provide a relatively small amount of expansion items. If I had it to do again, I would have just bought the biggest set available or two of the basic sets. The expansions don’t seem to be as good a value although some of them provide some unique pieces. Gravitrax should classify which items in a set support continuous runs of a ball track as some require manual resetting to their start positions before they will again transfer a ball. Those features that must be reset should be sold separately.

This game is extremely fun and truly teaches a child or an adult to understand how Gravity affects the steel ball bearings and how bridges work! It also teaches a child how to follow instructions and ultimately, their own imagination. I’m a senior and my grandson is 11. I recommend purchasing the large starter kit first, then decide on these extensions.

Amazing and gives hours of fun. I bought it for my 4 years old nephew although it is for 8 years. He head trouble to follow the instrauctions so he builds from his imagination with the help of adults and loves it. I guess at 8 years old he will enjoy even more.
