The Millionaire Author: The Hidden Strategies to Turn Your Book into a Million Dollar Business Paperback – October 17, 2014

I love Peggy M as an author which is the reason I purchased this book. It can be read in a day. It's very easy to read and is great motivation for anyone who wants to write and/or create a sustainable business. There are a few good ideas in the book and some wonderful testimonies. This is not a "How To" book. She mentions some strategies that other authors used to make themselves stand out and they are very useful ideas. I give this book 3-Stars, however, because there just wasn't enough information in it to merit what I paid for the book.

It was an interesting read, but told me very little about what I was actually seeking. Tips, hints, strategies... but too linear and not entirely helpful to me personally. Worth picking up if you are a budding author intending to break out into the world of publishing, though.

I just finished this gem of a book, and I feel like I can take on the world! Seriously, The Millionaire Author is part inspiration, part strategy. She instructs you in a down-to-earth, conversational manner, how to decide what you want out of life and then to go get it. You will discover what makes you great, and then find out that its the very thing that will cause your biggest source of income!! It is a fast read-I read through it in one day.Highly recommended to any author, or soon to be authors!!

Great book to read for Authors in spe'.Learn the path to an successful Author .It is not only the writing ,its the marketing of the book.Peggy McColl shows the best way to do this .

Congratulations to Peggy McColl. This book is a stunner. I am following Peggy's directions and I know without a doubt I am on the way to being a Millionair author. The directions, understanding and light hearted fun in which this book is written just makes us want to accept her very generous gifts and get on with creating our own prosperity.Cheers to everyone, I will meet you at the top. Before you buy this book, I would encourage you to look at the table of contents. You will notice that there are 80 pages. Yes 80. What it doesn't show you is that 20 of those are; blank, host 1 quotation, count title pages and she actually started numbering in the introduction. There is less than 60 pages of content (mostly antidotal for herself and her clients - also note that most of her 5 star reviews are from her clients). You can literally read it in 20 minutes or less. Very disappointing - especially since she is teaching this type of "get rich quick" publishing.

It is really just a sales job to buy her services, although she does give some good advice.

There was a lot of information in this book to help a writing career!

Very disappointed as other books by Peggy McColl had been a joy to read. This one can hardly be called a book at under 70 pages - mostly with stories of how successful other authors are - including Peggy herself. The book does a good job of telling you that you can absolutely become a successful author, but doesn't mention how you can go about doing that in any depth. It serves mostly as advertising for Peggy McColl's own business.
