Pretty Good - think the pond weed killer + filtration and air system more effective.......
It seems to have taken me ages but I finally appear to have achieved the right “balance” within my modest pond (say 3m diameter, round). I have bought:https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004V7JJEQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003GV6T9G/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00JXNEIDA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00G96XHXQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00VLX203A/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00I4278K6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0077L4V8C/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00DJ1T4L8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00LW0RD0M/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00SYS5GJ0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Which, to say the least, ought to keep my little pond running at perfect levels !I should also add that when we moved into the house, the pond already had a weak filter / fountain system. I’ve since re-attached that to the pond-spitters (the fairy and the cherub). When attached to the more powerful filtration systems it was like a garden sprinkler !Of all of this ‘kit’ the anti-blanket weed treatment has proved excellent – no signs of it 1 week after application.Without a doubt the main thing is the flitration system. However, I think that is closely followed by the air pump + air stones.I’ve obviously had to use a system of gravel / Cotswold stone to hide the pumps and lines. I now have beautifully clear water, cascading off stones into the pond. I have 30 + fish in the pond and since I’ve got the balance right, no fatalities.I also bought this, which was a disaster:https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004R39F34/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Basically the effect was to create ‘spiders web’ which algae could cling to at the surface of the pond. Although the water underneath was perfectly clear the anti-heron mesh ruined visibility….hence I replaced it with the galvanised mesh listed above which hangs 1 inch above the water and so doesn’t create a gudge-trap.OK: I think I may have gone wild on buying kit for the pond, but finally I’ve got rid of the niggles and have achieved a perfectly good biological balance…..Good luck fellow pondies !

Didn't work. Waste of money.
I followed the instructions, adding the 2 Kg of the powder to water in 2 buckets to make a slurry which I poured into the top of our waterfall where the water from the external filters flows into our 20,000 litre pond. A thin layer of something formed on the surface which I mostly removed from the pond using material in a net. The surface then cleared of this substance, but the pond remained green throughout and several days later is still green. The attached photo is of the pond a few hours after adding the Green Water Control powder to the pond. it looks the same, now.I'm sorry to say that the Green Water Control powder was a waste of money.

Ddoesnt work
It just didnt make any impression. I thought when I used it last year that it made a difference but this year - nothing. I find none of these work. Complete waste of money

When added to our pond, we were impressed as the water started to clear almost instantly. After skimming the green algae off the top of the pond for hours we could see the fish clearly. However, the next day the water was green again and was not much clearer than it had been prior to the treatment. The water has not improved over a couple of weeks, despite cleaning the pond filter four times a day.

Satisfactory but not great
I was disappointed by this product. Yes it works and it does clear the water but it’s like flour in texture floats on the surface and sticks to the side of the pool . Much prefer the liquid equivalent. No harm to any of my fish or resident frog but doesn’t last very long before the green algae reappears

Some progress but not as much as hoped for
We have developed a problem with algae in our garden pond and have tried a few different solutions. Our neighbour who has a far larger pond used Hydra Crystal and his pond is crystal clear, we have used three treatments to date in a relatively short space of time and it has made some inroads into clearing some of the algae but nowhere near what we had hoped for.

It does do what it says and quickly, but.!!!My pond is 558 gals. It has never turned green before in 10 years. I used Crystal in a careful measured dose. It went clear over night. The next day it was fully back. I tried again with the same results. Now I overdosed putting in more than double (all I had) the surface was in a mess with scum but the water was clear. Three days later it is green again. I have non left. After a week it has gone to an inky green unable to see more than three inches below the surface. I am now at a loss

Best I've ever tried
This is the best solution,if you want your pond crystal clear,I have put four photos on,over 4 days from green water to crystal clear,my pond is not the biggest 6x4x2 ft,I put three lots of of 30 ml spoons each day for 4 days, and I got crystal clear water on the 5th,I have tried a few of these green water solutions, but this is the best I have used.
