Couldn't get horn to work when pushing button. Description indicates batteries included but nowhere on exterior of silicone material covering to see where they were. Peeled silicone covering back (a little challenging because it clings to metal horn so well). Once peeled back saw small plastic tab sticking out where batteries go. figured it was similar battery operated devices to keep battery (batteries) separated. Pulled tab out and horn then worked. Had "fun" peeling silicone back over horn as it has a tight fit.

TOOTING MY HORN..
I feel bad for giving this 2 stars. It was easy to install and does exactly what it says it will do. Comes with 3 different horn sounds - siren, whistle, and AHOOOGA car noise. Sadly, it doesn't seem to clear anyone from the path as I'm riding. Kids are typically a problem as they're usually not paying attention. This horn isn't loud enough to gain their notice. Adults with headphones, and elderly people don't seem to notice either. Even some of the pedestrians who are just chatting seem to find a way to ignore it. At 90 decibels, I had hopes that it would break up a crowd without causing a heart attack, but I guess I'm going to have to get something louder when I start back in the spring. It's well made, fits my bike like a glove and is handy to use. Just needed something much louder.

Sleek Little Bell
Got this for my boyfriend has he recently moved cities and now rides his bike everywhere. Its a sleep little bell that really packs a punch. Now I don't have to worry about him running over any oblivious pedestrians who don't bother to look each way. Like that it has 3 different sounds and is very easy to use. Would highly recommend for you biker of urban streets.

Very simple to install, 2 year old just loves it
The bell is just as pictured. The silicone mount just stretches like a rubber band around the handlebars and it's on. It stays exactly where you put it and I'm not worried about it falling off the kids bikes and getting lost. The bell only makes a very limited set of noises, but that also makes it really easy to identify where my kids are around the park. It does use the small watch-size CR2032 batteries which I already have in a lot of devices like my wireless keyboard, thermometer, and my wife's watch - So I already have a pack of replacement batteries.Seems sturdy enough to handle the kids so far.

Great little gadget
It's made of silicone, but it's thick, so doesn't appear it will fall apart easily. It makes 3 different sounds. One is like an alarm to notify those around you that you need help or to hopefully scare away an wildlife you may encounter on your bike ride. The only thing about getting to the different sounds is that you need to hold down the button for 2-3 seconds and it will change the sound. Hold down for another 2-3 seconds and it will take you to the next one, etc. It's not overly loud, but loud enough to get attention.

Good design, not that loud
Clearly good engineering & materials. Advertised as '120 decibels'; I measured it right in front of the unit, and it registered (at most) 85 decibels. That's only 1/16th the loudness advertised. I really did not expect this smalla device could generate 16 times what it did- just that the makers should be more honest. At least they didn't claim'300 decibels', as did another maker of a bike horn. Such a volume is that of a nuclear bomb going off. I really don't need it THAT loud!

Bad.
This things terrible. You have to hold the button for several seconds before it makes a sound. Who wants to do this while on a bicycle??? Downright dangerous! Not only that the horn sounds are anemic, weird. Sent it back. Avoid. Want a real horn? Get a Juice Bikes horn. Incredible. Loud, reasonable, quality, long battery life, even with remotes!!!Its actually a loud motorcycle horn, with real horn sound!!! No, they're not paying me to advertise for them!

Honka Honka
Needed a signaling device while riding my EUC and happened to be watching EUC riders in Sweden on YouTube and they were testing sound devices for EUC riding. They had this one that looked perfect for me and it is. I just slip it on my finger and go. Not so loud as to scare the bejesus out of people unless you want to wait till your right on them. Happy buyer
