My 7YO son was very excited about his smart watch when it arrived. Soon I came to realize that this was not as good as it looked in the listing and ultimately needed to return it. For the price paid, I certainly didn't expect it to be like an Apple Watch but I did expect it to work and be usable. Some of the issues were:1) The instructions were very poorly written, in poor English or nonsense. No details on the proper way to insert the SIM, for example. However, we did eventually get it all set up. It would be nice if the Chinese manufacturers would hire Americans to review their documentation and edit it.2) Once it was set up and we got everything activated, the phone worked okay. My biggest gripe is that the sound quality coming from a phone mic was very poor. When talking to a 7 YO who was remote, it was very difficult to understand him. I'd hate to be dealing with that in an emergency. One thing a phone must do well above all else is to be able to make and receive calls clearly.3) The watch displays the date and time in formats that are non-standard for the US, and there is no way to change this. E.g the time was only displayed in military time. Not great if you are trying to teach a small child about time.4) The clip-on charger was very clunky and difficult to get set just right so the watch would charge5) The watch battery life was less than 1 day6) It appears to be impossible to power off the watch. The single button used for powering on, is also the button used for the SOS feature. So, when attempting to power off the watch, it activates the SOS feature after 3 seconds and notifies the 3 parties on the SOS list. Maybe that's intentional, since you may want your child not to turn it off. But I don't know, because the documentation didn't say.7) While the product listing said the product was IP68 waterproof, the poorly-written product documentation said IP67. Which is it then? Anyone's guess. I wouldn't intentionally submerge this or any similar product in water as I don't trust it.8) The camera was on the side edge, instead of on the face, which made impractical to use9) Lastly but most importantly, the touch screen stopped working after 2 days. Thus returning as a defective product. I would not recommend this product.

Update: After the watch working great for a day it stopped working. The battery is fully charged but the watch won’t power on.The watch works fairly well. The locator is definitely accurate when running off WiFi however it only picks up public WiFi not personal password protected. The other locator functions are more than a mile off. The watch looks good other than the camera lense came very scratched up. It was easy to activate and it worked immediately. I have not been able to find the night light function.
