I love this color! It’s A perfect muted purple that I can pair with the brighter colors in my room - it really balances the whole room.The first thing I did when I received it was wash it, cold water with laundry detergent and fabric softener and then thrown into the dryer. This was the first test, to see if it could withstand a wash and dry. It came out perfectly fine: the color was still vibrant and there were no loose threads.Putting it on was easy (as easy as putting a duvet cover on a comforter can be) and I really loved the zipper closure that also has fold over fabric to hide it. This small detail really cleans up the look.The next thing I noticed was that the pillowcases had extra fabric inside that folds over the pillow, securing it inside. I really appreciate this detail.The texture is super nice, perhaps a bit stuffy, but it feels good against the skin.

I love this cover my only issue is that It shows every little thing on it. If you have kids its not the best. I love the color and the feel but I'm constantly washing it.

I looked for weeks for a duvet and settled on this one because of the color.Let me just say off the bat, this is NOT - I repeat, NOT - a comforter or insert. I truly can’t believe the number of reviews I see about covers that complain it’s just two sheets sewn together and it’s all flat. Like? Yes, that’s actually exactly what it is lol. You need to have your own insert or comforter already. I think all of them I’ve seen specify that in the description. It’s like negatively reviewing a pillow case for being flat and empty. Don’t be ridiculous. Understand what you’re buying at least.Anyway 😊 I added a few photos with some different lighting and I think the beige in the Amazon photos is the real thing, not photoshopped. So the color is accurate to me. Washed and dried on normal cycle and wrinkles came out fine.They sell jersey knit sheets at target I believe and Walmart, so if you’re curious about the material you can get a feel in person. It’s basically just soft stretchy type cotton. I do recommend this duvet. I got mine before the price of the king went up to $75.. I’m not sure yet if it’s quite worth that much though.Update - I’ll say that while I do really like the duvet still after a few weeks, I personally don’t think I would buy it again for $75. I don’t think I would pay more than $60 for this specific set. That’s just me but it could be worth it to someone else.

We waited and waited to buy a duvet cover because we live in southern Arizona, where the summer heat can really mess with your sleep if you're not careful. I'm the type of person who needs the comfort of a blanket even though I'm also a super hot sleeper, so we really hoped to find something comfortable and soft, but breathable, without being that awful synthetic material that gets stuck to your skin. It felt even riskier to buy online, but after looking around at reviews, and knowing generally the textures my partner and I like, I went ahead and bought the teal blue, king-sized version. Not only did it meet our needs, it surpassed our expectations in every way!I love the texture, which is soft without being so soft that it clings to you as you sleep -- I actually really like a rougher cotton texture, whereas my partner likes the super soft t-shirt sheets -- this was the perfect medium for us. It's still super breathable, but the best part about it is actually the weight. Again, we live in a hot area, and are hot sleepers, so we've always thought we needed lightweight sheets that we can throw off in the middle of the night without issue. However, this duvet cover actually added a decent amount of weight to our bed covers, which made me very worried at first, but actually ended up being exactly the thing we didn't know we needed. Essentially, the weight is this added layer of comfort that makes it so we toss and turn much less than we used to -- kind of like the comfort of a weighted blanket, but lighter -- but that weight plus the lack of tossing and turning actually makes it so the parts of the bed that my body isn't touching don't gather any of my heat at all, in the way a lightweight blanket would allow for the air to circulate. But by not letting the air circulate as much, when I do end up a little hot, all I do is stretch my leg out and find this wonderful cold portion of the bed that was held down by the duvet cover, and didn't gather any of my body heat. It's amazing! We immediately slept so well our first night and have been going strong for months - cannot recommend this duvet enough!Oh, and added bonus, the zipper closure is a nice touch, and works well -- I've had duvet covers with button closures before that are total disasters. The zipper holds well and overall, it also holds the insert without any slippage.

I got this duvet cover a while back and I do enjoy using it, but I don’t like how much the insert moves around so much inside. It’s a bit of a pain in the butt. The material is a little harsh, but it definitely keeps the heat in. So I would recommend it for more of a winter blanket. You will definitely over heat in the summer.

My partner was super against me buying this cover for our duvet, as he claimed it made no difference and was unnecessary to buy another one. I did it anyways and let me tell you how impressed he was when he got into bed. He apologized for doubting me and told me that this duvet was the softest and most comfortable bedding ever! A year later this duvet and pillowcase set hasn't pilled, had discolouration/faded colours or shown signs of wear and tear. As for my partner, he steals the blanket with this duvet from me every night, I think its time to buy myself one of my own!

I purchased this to cover a new queen-size Canadian Hutterite goose down duvet. It fit perfectly, was as easy to install as one could expect and has a bonus of being a wonderfully soft 'n snuggly fabric which also doesn't seem to wrinkle. What more could one ask for?I will recommend this product.

Great purchase, soft cotton. It did shrink a bit however the fabric seems to have a bit of stretch to it and had no issues fitting.

JUNE 2020 UPDATE: still using this cover, still adore it! It only got softer with washes and hasnt pilled at all. It's my absolute favorite I've ever purchased. If you're hesitating, just do it! 100% worth it.I ordered this in "light coffee" instead of the jersey cover on urban outfitters, which was $150 and didn't even come with pillow cases. Color is almost exactly like the photo, a little darker/more beige than gray in low light, but thats to be expected. It's soft and fit on my insert decently, although a little longer on one side, and the pillow cases were a bit too small for my pillows, but with the envelope closure they still fit in, just a little lumpy, but with a little fluffing it looks fine. overall I'm very satisfied with this purchase, I had a great sleep in it last night and I'm imagining it'll only get softer with washes. If you're on the fence about this, I'd say go for it. It's amazing for the price compared to the same product and more for triple the price at urban outfitters. Will possibly come back to buy another color in the future. :^)

This is the biggest disappointment in terms of items ordered online. Some really shady business happening here. This product literally arrived 10min ago. I opened the bag and gagged. The cigarette smoke associated with these sheets was disgusting. Once past it I opened the product only to find one pillow case and what seems to be a totally unfinished duvet cover!! Ridiculous! Zipper poorly sawn only on one side and the other side with wholes in. Like … what in the world happened here??! Very thin cotton like material as well. I want my money back on this, every cent. Do not order it! Super shady product.
