I was looking for an upgrade to my TT350 for Nikon Z6 and Z50 that would be appropriately sized to these cameras. The rechargeable battery is a major improvement over using AAs in terms of convenience, number of flashes and consistent recycling speed. Although the V480 is slightly bigger than the TT350, you're getting a larger flash head and control panel. First impression of the flash output is that it has an even pattern. The TTL metering seems accurate. Although slightly bigger than the TT350, for me the V480 is a major upgrade and will be replacing my TT350.

This is great flash… small light weight, perfect for events. Battery life is amazing, I shot on ttl at event and took over 500 images on one charge. The only downside is the diffuser, it keeps popping off to the point of making it unusable. The flash is well worth the purchase.

Nice flash. The interface is average but you get accustomed to it. Noticeably more powerful and colour accurate than my TT350. Goldilocks sized. I like the Battery that charges directly using USB-C. I would have loved the battery to be more secure without the need for the door to access the battery.

This is a great flash that gets you some of the features of the V1 without as much of the cost. You get rechargable lion battery and nice big display screen. A fill/focus flash on the front of the body as well as the full power head. Unfortunately it's not the same battery as the V1 so you can't share between them if you have both. The flash is decently versatile except this one for Sony has the proprietary based which doesn't fit on any other hot shoe so you can't even mount it. Weight and easy of use is nice. This would be a good step for someone looking for some of the higher end Godox features but not wanting to pay $300+ for the V1.

This goat ox flash unit is absolutely fantastic. I'm loving the build quality and the size of the flash unit relative the smaller size of the sony camera bodies. The hat shoe locks insecurely, and has a half twist lock witch helps keep things easy. The flash also features a touchscreen, which is very responsive and intuitive to use. Power can be adjusted quickly with the swipe of a finger. There's also traditional buttons and spin wheels to adjust the settings if you don't care for touchscreen. The coolest thing is that this flash features a modeling lamp to get focus in low light situations and it has multiple settings to turn off when the flash is fired. The flash is very easy to use on a Sony, just plug and play. You can change from manual, ttl, or wireless control. The included battery is easily charged via usb c. Overall, this flash unit is a great evolution to the traditional speed light with some additional features. Wireless control built in and a modeling lamp, which is not common for speed light of this size. The build quality as I mentioned is superb. Materials feel solid and well made. there are no sharp corners and it makes zero noises when putting it on and off the camera. I think for the money, this speed light is great value with all of the features that it has. If you're looking for a new sony speed light, I think the size and functionality of this speed light is impressive And I highly recommend it.
