No women pictured playing hockey
I just got this for my toddler who adores hockey but also happens to know a lot of women who play, including myself. The book description was gender neutral claiming it was for "all hockey fans" so I thought nothing of it. We were pretty disappointed to see a men's team inclusively, with no women included. Wouldn't have purchased had I known.

A great bedtime book for your aspiring hockey kid
My 4 yr old son is all about hockey these days but it's hard to find hockey books to read before bed overnight. We found 'Z Is for Zamboni: A Hockey Alphabet' by Matt Napier which he loves but after reading it almost 100 times, we needed to broaden our selection of hockey books. Luckily I found this gem of a book by Michael Dahl. It's a quick read which is great but fun and colorful. The story flows like the words of a poem and it's illustrations are top notch. My son and his parents love this book.

This book could produce future Blues players.
I would buy this again if only my children would produce more grandchildren then I could buy one for each of them. If you know my children please encourage them to reproduce more. I'm hoping at least one of my grandchildren grow up to be on the St Louis Blues. More grandchildren would give me better chances of this.

amazing book
I just got this book and I absoluty LOVE IT!!! it is bigger than I thought and the quality is AMAZING., the drawings inside are really well made and the pages are really strong and sturdy. love the story behind it and I cannot wait to read it to my 4 year old. He is such a Washington Capitals fan. All his life is about hockey and about Oshie and Ovie. He is having a 4th bday party and of course his theme is hockey. He is not a good sleeper, I am hopeing this book will help him go to sleep in a good mood and relaxed after reading a story about his passion and looking at these amazing illustrations and really vibrant colors.I didn't know it was a sports illustrated book. I am really pleased. The story is about hochey of course but kids can relate to it. They can picture themselves excited about their team winning. It shows the meaning of sports and team supportive fan.I recommend this book to all hockey fans.... ages 4 and up. The story is really well told and easy for the kids to follow.will be a really good addition to kids library.

GREAT BIRTHDAY GIFT
Cute little book about going to a hockey game. Gave this to my nephew's son for his 2nd birthday. My nephew is very much into hockey, and was as excited as his son to receive this book. I'm sure it will provide hours of reading fun.

Super cute!
Love this little book and the illustrations. I got it as a gift for a 1 year old of some die-hard Blues fans, they loved it! I used it as a card and my only "criticism" is that there was barely anywhere to sign it. But I fully realized that's a personal issue. I'd still 100% recommend.

For all futur NHL players
Best book for little hockey fans. We already had "good night football" since my husband is a football coach. But when our two year old son started ice hockey, we needed another book. We can recommend both. We read themEvery night.

Great for the hockey lover kid!
This is our 1.5 year olds favourite book! He learned to read with it, and learned hockey words like Zamboini! It's a great bedtime book!
