Terrible - save your money
After reading the reviews I bought this bench knowing it's best described as a "beginner" bench and didn't expect much. I really hoped that this bench would be comparable to my old Weider Bench, that I bought from sears in the 90's but wow - I couldn't believe how things have changed in the manufacturing world from 90's and how poor quality this bench is. When it arrived - the bench was very simple to put together (took about 1 hour and was a fun Saturday task). Shipping was super FAST and unfortunately it was the only positive about this purchase. I never write reviews so please take this to heart whoever is considering buying this. AVOID and AVOID spending on anything similar. Please treat yourself and spend more money on a proper/stronger quality bench regardless of your level - (beginner or not). SAFETY FIRST!!! I don't mind that the bicep, chest and leg attachments are made for short people and terrible - but I can make it work by adding handles. My old Weider bench was the same exact design as this bench but the CAP bench didn't even come close to quality as it's made of cheap steel. What I DO mind is- and the reason I am leaving this bad review - when benching, it feels extremely "scary" with 80lbs . With just 40 lb plates on each side the bench feels unstable and not safe. This bench is a failure and the thought of only two (2) bolts holding the main (Center) part of the frame together is very disconcerting. I am not returning it due to the limited options available during these "COVID Virtual Environment" and will continue to use however, I plan on using it in a very LIMITED capacity. It will also make a great coat rack! Summary " I really regret buying this bench. I am going back to benching on the floor until I find a better alternative. I could sell it on craigslist - but I can't seem to sell something I don't even feel safe on, and I don't like taking advantage of people by price gouging them. The only exercise that I feel safe on is doing left lifts. I see a lot of people selling this bench on Craigslist and now I know exactly why. I even asked a several people who were selling this bench (new/used) and asked him "why are you selling it" - and I get the same reply - "I don't have the space". After this experience. I know exactly why they are selling it 1.) Price gouging opportunity 2.) It's simply a terrible bench. It looks GREAT- but you can't even bench 80 lbs without feeling like the bench is going to collapse. Even with 40lbs on the leg lift - if feels like this attachment will not last long. The fair market price for this bench should be approx $100.00. I willingly risked overpaying $220.00+ due to the COVID environment. Take away - If you buy this bench you will find yourself reselling it the moment you put it all together, after it arrives. If you do buy this bench - it's not a "forever bench" and you will end up - again selling it or throwing it out in the garbage. I really wanted this bench to work out, but it's just a really poor quality product. AGAIN- Avoid and Treat yourself something nice with something else. Follow up -#imiss the 90's. + I recently bought a vintage "beginner's bench" for $40 at a local garage sale and it more stable and better quality that this (Crappy) CAP bench. Sorry seller - I really wanted this to work - but you are selling a terrible product.

You get what you pay for.
I should have read the other reviews before I purchased, but for the price my expectations were not high anyway. It was easy to assemble, and it’s somewhat sturdy for lighter weights. However, the “flye”, leg, and curl attachments are completely unusable based on how short a person’s arms/legs would have to be to use them. The range of motion is also completely wrong for the attachments. The width of the rack to bench on is also not made for a benching grip of a person over 5’7” or so.It’s not total garbage and if you are a smaller person who won’t use the attachments or heavy weight, it’s ok for a beginner or to get you by while the gyms are closed. In retrospect, I wish I had just spent the money on an legit Olympic Style bench with about a 500lb weight capacity. I probably won’t be using it for much other than in a pinch if my gym closes again.I really wanted to like it, but the proportions are all wrong.

For those under 6 feet tall.
This was designed for people that are not 6’5’’. For me the curl, leg curl, leg extension, and fly set doesn’t fit for my height. As far as the other features they are good. I would only recommend for beginners and intermediate lifters that are under 6 feet tall. And wish I would have seen a taller person’s review.

HORRIBLE!!! Money thrown in the garbage!
Horrible!!!! I am so freaking mad! I bought this bench at the end of June because of how hard it was to find these things but had to wait until today to build it as I was fixing my garage for a gym. BIG MISTAKE!!!! I can’t return it anymore and the whole thing is so bad! It is not sturdy, not stable, the rack is too small and I can’t even lift because where my hands are supposed to hold the barbell is exactly where it rests so what is the point??? I hope you guys never make another person as a fool, ever again! I wish I could report this company to Amazon so they cancel this account and don’t allow them so sell anything else!

Good product for the price but not for heavy weights.
I had no problems putting together weight bench. Instructions had very good pictures. Not built for heavy-duty use.

Garbage
I’m a 150lb 5’8, and this whole thing shakes with or without weight. Horrible quality, you can’t even bench 80lbs without the whole thing feeling like it will collapse. You get what you pay for, spend a little more and get something with thicker stands. This thing sits on very small stands.
