Greetings,,I purchased this after I had my first straight razor beard trim and style done from a professional. I really like how you can line your beard with a straight razor and it's far easier then trying to use a safety razor or a DE. Far a quality all three items have a nice feel and nice weight behind them. The straight razor is of good quality, and the disposable blades are very sharp, so I would advise newbies to practice on their hand before going straight to your face or neck line (saw that tip from another user), I did have to use some after shave balm afterwards I did get s small amount of razor burn, but nothing severe, and I'm sure it was caused by shaving the first time myself with it..the metal comb works well for me after applying beard balm or wax it help to get it all the way tdd hur the beard to the skin, it did not seem to pull or tear and hairs out, the machining one mine was smooth with no snags, the scissors are what they are and did the job as expect on the stash and some straggler gray hairs again not pulling...all in all this has been a great product and I would definitely purchase again and will probably buy another for a friend that has a beard as well..great product..

So I've recently been going through a phase that I'm trying to grow my beard out, and looking for some tools to keep it trimmed, and saw this kit. Love the scissors and comb, find that I can do a better trimmed than my electric trimmer, and have gotten a lot a compliments that I don't look like a Bushman anymore.The straight edge I was very nervousness about having always used the normal 3-4-5 bladed razors, but will say it does a fantastic job trimming the edges, allowing me to stay nice and tight with the lines.Would recommend this as a great gift idea

Everything I expected except the comb is huge.

It is a gift. The quality seems nice. They have a heavy weight to them. They have the engraving of the brand name. I was disappointed with the packaging because it arrived in a padded envelope but the cylinder that is made out of a thick cardboard had opened up at the bottom so everything except the pair of scissors were loose in the envelope and I had to take in the bag for the loose razor blades . The nice looking cylinder container had a clear plastic wrapper around it that is now ripped so it looks unpleasing as a present. Overall looks like a nice product. Seems like a good value for the money. The product hasn’t been used so I cannot comment on how well the items work. Just disappointed that the wrapper came apart and the items were loose in the envelope.

Order arrived and is exactly as expected. The quality is really good. For a cheaper razor it certainly doesn't feel cheap and the blades shave perfectly as expected. My only complaint is that the channel in the handle of the razor isn't quite wide enough to accommodate the blade housing, so if you try to close it all the way it releases the latch that holds the blade. It's easy enough to work around since it still closes enough to cover the blade.

Okay for the price point. I was curious to try a straight razor for a while now. I've been using a high quality safety razor for years and like that you don't have to pay a ton for replacement blades like most razors.This razor is alright and does the job. I mainly wanted to use it to line up my beard, particularly on my upper cheeks. Out of the set, I think the comb and scissors are what I like most. The razor itself does not feel very high quality, but considering the price, it is a decent set.

Nice strong metal comb with finger grip, the straight razor part comes with alot of extra blades and it easy enough to use with some practice, the scissors are nice too! Damn nice deal for the price. Just be sure to use shaving cream, the type of metal used in these blades will leave your skin red and painful if you attempt to shave without cream.
