First runout with extractor this week. Mentioned the weakness in the lid previously. Best if the legs are secured to a sheet of plywood to improve stability. Easy enough to assemble and disassemble for cleaning. The ball bearing in the nylon housing at the bottom of the axle is easily lost. Also don't use normal grease at this point as it will taint honey. Use silicone based catering grease. Probably best to avoid letting the honey level come up to this level. Enjoy.

I had to do some 'finishing' on the leg edges as they were sharp and there was some small bolts missing for the safty lid parts. The winding handle spindle had some flashing bits which needed filing off to get the handle to fix on? Having done these jobs it looks the business and I look forward to using it.

Great sturdy extractor which I took out of the box and used for first time yesterday (six months after deliver). Problem is I'm missing couple of screws. One to secure handle and one for the bumper on lid?

The media could not be loaded.  Mein Vater hat ein paar Bienenvölker zum Hobby. Da es irgendwie immer ein- zwei pro Jahr mehr werden ist langsam mal eine eigene Honigschleuder sinnvoll (bisher immer nur beim Bekannten geliehen).Er hat bald Geburtstag und bekommt diese hier von mir geschenkt. Natürlich gibt es noch größere mit automatischem Schwenken der Rahmen usw. Aufgrund von wenig Platz und um den Geldbeutel zu schonen ist das hier aber ein guter Kompromiss denke ich.Dank Edelstahl ist alles hygienisch einwandfrei und sollte entsprechend leicht zu reinigen sein. Der Auslass für den Honig sitzt bauartbedingt nicht direkt am Boden - sehe ich aber nicht als Problem - bei den letzten Waben muss man dann eben beim Ausgießen die Schleuder ein wenig kippen.Das Schleudern mit der Kurbel klappt sicher gut, doch denke ich, dass wir (also mein Vater) eher mit einem Akkuschrauber auf kleiner Stufe arbeiten wird (ich denke man sollte mit der Geschwindigkeit nicht übertreiben, da die Getriebeübersetzung den Korb schon per Hand ordentlich rotieren lässt).Also wirklich empfehlenswert.

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo! Fa molto bene il suo dovere. Un po’ instabile ma con una mano si tiene fermo tranquillamente.Si potrebbe fissare ma non conviene perché per svuotarlo completamente è necessario inclinarlo un po’Consiglio l’acquisto per apicoltori amatori o appassionati.
