My all metal tongs had started to rust, right where you pick the food up. Not nice! So I wanted a replacement pair that this wouldn't happen to. Ok, I wasn't going to buy 2 pairs.... but why not. They will both be used.There's a 9 inch pair, perfect for everyday use, in fact they were used the evening they arrived to serve up the corn on the cob. There's also a 12 inch pair, very useful if you're a bit nervous of barbecues, like me. They have this clever little thing where, if you pull up the handle, it locks the tongs closed. Handy for hanging up, or taking up less space in a drawer.The silicon "hands" - for want of a better word- feel nice and strong, while being pliable enough to lift things from a non stick tray without risk of scratching it.

These arrived today and have been used to turn my sausages at tea time. They are a great quality product in a lovely colour red. You get one large tong and one smaller one, I used the small ones and these are very handy for turning food in the oven or grill without burning your hand trying to stick a fork in to do the same job. I really like these as they have silicone ends and were really easy to clean, they also look good in the kitchen.I received these at a discount price for a review. This is a lovely set of two pairs of silicone tongs. They are attractive enough to use at the table , for example one for roast potatoes and one for salad or meats. They are sturdily made and lock closed for ease of storage. The longer pair is ideal for getting to the back of the grill etc. They are also gentle enough to use on a George Forman grill or similar and are dishwasher safe. I received this product at a reduced price in exchange for an honest review. I am happy to recommend this product.

These tongs are just what I was looking for. The silicone grips at the top ensure they are never hot to handle and don't slip from your grasp, whilst the silicone spoons pick up the food without it slipping too. And the neat way they clip together makes them so much easier to store in the drawer.

Good sturdy product, best utensil purchase in a while for the Kitchen. good quality!
