Do not buy if you cannot diagnose and repair yourself.1. Laser Would not ‘Home’ - X-axis grinding. ( actuator was not aligned with the sensor)2. Water temp. Gauge not working.3. No way to adjust focus. ( no instructions, no gauge included)4. Found loose washer in power supply compartment, gave no idea where it came from)5. Emergency/ Stop install upside down6. Key switch loose7. Software not detecting device ( instructions useless) still working on that.Have not tested Laser yet ( fingers crossed)

Not easy to get lightburn to work, software full of malware, save your self, install whisper driver, then meerk40t to get basic operation. But for 400, it does engrave. Recieved analog panel version, and lid safety not operational...

Received and found parts had come loose during shipment, and the screws that held the part in place don’t adjust enough to hold it. Very bad design, no air assist so I hope once I fire this up it doesn’t catch things on fire. Have not found out how to focus the beam yet for proper cutting or engraving, this laser is very basic and lacks important features that should be standard on any laser, especially focusing!! Not sure if this will work at all.

The unit arrived in good condition but the hardware holding the table and moving assembly inside came loose during shipping. Looking at the other reviews this seems to be a common issue so the company must not have great quality control when it comes to checking bolts. Due to it coming loose I had to reassemble it and then readjust and aim all of the mirrors which is a huge pain and requires having laser goggles which are not included. Instructions for the process are not included either. I had to search online for it. The instructions that are included are absolutely minimal and only cover the software and connecting it to the unit. Another issue is the water sensor is not functional. Which seems to be common with other reviews too.This unit has no way to focus the beam.I saw online folks saying the digital readout is flawed and causes you to burn out the laser tube so they recommended adding an analog amperage gauge. I modified the unit to have an analog amperage gauge, it has a new digital water flow meter and temp gauge, air pump with regulator and air assist nozzle, mesh worktable and adjustable height platform to fix the non focusing lens issue. Overall the parts were about another $100 but turn it into a solid machine. You can also add in a rotating base if you wanted and just unplug the Y and plug it into the rotating base. Although you'll have to tinker with your settings.Overall don't get this unless you're ready to tinker and don't mind researching how to troubleshoot it. It will not work out of the box

Just received it and was excited to start engraving even went to buy a better laptop so I could use it with the engraving machine. Once I opened it up everything looked good package a bit ruffled up but inside everything looked good. As I started to do did into getting things out I noticed that the alignment on the laser rail was off by a lot and then the side rail/gide had a bad gap so I ended up opening a return claim. After reading al the cons I think I am going to look for another machine.
