RIEDEL H2O Whisky Set of 2

These are truly amazing Crystal tumblers. I swear wine tastes so much better out of them. I put them in the dishwasher even though you’re probably not supposed to, but they’re fine. I have broken a couple (nothing to do with dishwasher) so be super careful, but both my own clumsiness. But they are wonderful to drink from. So delicate. Really thin dimmed which for me is what I look for. And really good value for money, presented in a lovely way and long lasting. For the ones I haven’t been clumsy with. I use them almost every day. Also great for other fizzy drinks with ice, cocktails, etc.

Great stemless glasses. I have the Riedel tasting set of stemmed glasses - two each for Cabernet, Pinot Noir, oaked Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc, alongside some beer ones too. I got these Syrah stemless for when I need to travel with them as they obviously take up less space; or if I am drinking wine outdoors because they sit on an uneven surface more safely. Of course, if I am drinking Syrah at home I use these as well, and due to their size and shape, they can be used for cocktails too.

No more knocking over those pricey wine glasses and causing a mess or breakage. These are sturdy but elegant red wine alternatives. Just as good to look at. Easy to hold and help the red wine to breathe. Well recommended either for the clumsy like me or just to create less clutter on a smaller dining table. !

If you're here the chances are you've heard of Reidel. If not, they make exceptionally good wine glasses. I went for the Riedel Pinot Nebbiolo O range stemless as I'm good at breaking glasses, especially good quality thin ones. These are great, work well. They are quite wide (there's a clue in the description - 112mm for the Pinot ones), so if you have small hands and/or stubby fingers just check them out (or the stemmed version as they are the same size bowl) before buying them. And these glasses deserve good wine. Please don't abuse these glasses by putting some dirty corner shop Merlot in them, you (and the glasses) deserve better than that

I like Riedel glassware as it tends to have a thin lip, which I find makes drinking more enjoyable and allows me to taste the wine better. The glasses are quite large (perhaps a little large for my small hands, hence 4 stars rather than 5), but they look nice and allow the wine to breathe beautifully. These are perfect for Pinot Noir and wash well so far. Price on Amazon was competitive with major retailers.

For white wine, of course, but also for whisk(e)y neat or with a touch of water. I love the size and the feel and the Riedel quality.

Probably the nicest pair of wine glasses I have ever bought. At first, they do seem awfully delicate (especially when washing up) but I think this lends to the quality of the fine crystal. Having shopped around for stemless glasses, I found this "O" range to fit comfortably in my hand, and the glass wide enough to stick my nose in and enjoy what tipple I've got on there. These glasses were beautiful, but are very fragile, not a good idea to put them in the dishwasher!
