Was highly recommended. The barrel is a good size and the grip portion is really comfortable. Don't know if the grip part is silicon...it's squishy and comfortable. Its just a pencil so really a cheaper mechanical pencil would work just as well. But... squishy and looks good 😀

When it came the packaging was crumbled and torn apart with dirt on it, but the pencil is great 10\10

This pencil is an amazing kind of mechanical pencil and the lead it uses is the most common kind so you can buy the lead for it at any stores like, Walmart and target. I have bought many of this pencil from target before and then when I saw the one on amazon I felt like the ones on target are SO OVERPRICED while the ones on amazon are the cheapest anywhere. Walmart as well is three dollars extra, and are never in stock. The oxigel is very soft [ the grip ] and has many ways to not only make the lead go out of the pencil but back inside if you need a shorter amount. I would rate this and eleven out of any ten! My son loves this specific kind of lead pencils and he went crazy for it!

even though the grip is described as "hard," i still consider it quite soft (but not too soft for my tastes); it seems softer than my pilot dr. grip pens, and those are considered to be soft. it also has a neat locking feature, which enables you to turn off the shaker function so it doesn't dispense lead while rattling around in your pencil pouch or backpack (if the clicker is all the way down, then it's "locked" and you can't dispense lead by shaking; you can still do it by pressing it halfway down to advance the lead. if it is up, then it is "unlocked," and you can advance lead by either shaking or clicking halfway down).i'd say the only 2 downsides are that the eraser is somewhat small (but honestly, you shouldn't use the small erasers on top of mechanical pencils to erase your mistakes; buy one of the staedtler erasers and use that instead), and the fact that this pencil doesn't have a tip that can self-retract to protect it. but other than that, i have no real complaints.

This pencil has a really squishy relaxing grip and the lead does not break easily and always stays sharp! However you have to press the top button like a pen and it is supposed to secure the pencil tip...however it does not do the job, you shouldn't worry about this, though. It shakes out lead really easily..you can shake and press. If you open the lead compartment(upper half of pencil) you can take out the shake spring(very easy to take out and put back on)and it won't shake anymore. So there is use in two ways. The eraser is okay and erases well, however it is quite small. Overall this is a awesome pencil to use, at work, at home, anywhere! This is the number one comfy pencil and really is good. But for people who don't like the comfy grip the Pentel Sharp pencil is also a recommendation. For me, I like this Uni Shake Mechanical Pencil better....^^

I had to beg my dad to get me one of these babes since the price was a little pricey (In his opinion at least) but it's worth it! I really love how comfortable the grip is and how smoothly I'm able to write with this pencil. I usually press really hard while writing and it leaves the inner part of my middle finger sore but, I've never had this problem with the Uni-ball Alpha Gel at all! The only thing that I don't like is, when you're clicking to get more lead and the cap gets locked in place due to the shaking mechanism. Oh and I'd also buy a separate eraser since the one that come with it is very tiny, probably used for more precise erasing, but I still wouldn't use it because over time it'll wear down. This pencil is a shakey, so you can either dispense graphite by clicking the top of the pencil, or shake it downwards. One thing I like about this pencil is that you can lock the shakey feature by pressing longer on the top clicker.The grip on the pencil is really soft, which was beneficial because I was writing a bunch of personalized thank you cards, so this pencil saved me a bunch of resting time between drafting and inking the cards.The pen itself is also really sturdy, and I foresee myself comfortably using this bad boy for a while. The color isn’t bad either, but that’s personal preference.

Me ha fascinado, es súper ligero, shaker, bonito, está padrísimo. Lo compre para mí uso personal, pero mi hija de 12 años me lo quito, ya he ordenado otros 3 más en diferentes colores.

Habe diesen Stift zum zeichen gekauft - das schöne ist das man zum Mine nachschieben nicht den griff ändern sondern nur kurz schütteln muss.spart zeit und man muss nicht immer wieder neu greifen und seine "wohlfühlposition" finden.Liegt mit dem Gelpad auch super in der Hand.Würd ich jederzeit wieder kaufen falls mir meiner mal abhanden kommt ;)
