This is fantastic stuff and it'll be my go to from now on. The scent is not particularly strong but leaves you smelling clean and like you came straight from the barber shop. Since I switched to a safety razor I've been falling in love with more and more of Proraso's products. I'm not big on brand loyalty but Proraso has yet to let me down.

I have been using Proraso for almost a year now and I love it. It's a bit spendy, but if you're using dual edge razors you're probably saving money anyway. I'll happily claim it's worth the cost. This aftershave balm works a lot like Nivea's cooling aftershave balm does - the eucalyptus oil and menthol cool off your face and take some of the razor burn bite away. It also moisturizes and does toning (witch hazel), so you can kinda save 2 steps. I usually add cetaphil on top afterwards because I have dry skin, and I still do that.. but again, I really do like this aftershave. I was using the 'sensitive skin' variant but went back to the menthol scent this time - I think I prefer how it smells. The sensitive skin shaving cream is my favorite though. Also these come in a lovely, heavy glass bottle. Between that and being made in Italy, well, there's the price lol. It's still way cheaper than the aftershave made by cologne companies - and I like this stuff MUCH better. I highly recommend buying the tin that comes with the aftershave, preshave, and shaving cream. While the boxes inside do tend to get beat up during shipping, you get the same stuff for less money, and get a cool looking tin to store your shaving stuff in. Still, great shaving products! I have purchased this balm for a few years now and I am impressed with the quality of how well it works on my skin after shaving. I love the smell of it and feel of it after shaving. It keeps my face moisturized al day. At first, it does not feel like it will keep it moisturized since it is not like a lotion, but more of a thinner runny liquid. However, after putting on, it absorbs and keeps any irritation from happening. I will recommend and keep buying this.

I have purchased Proraso products before and know they are very good quality. This is my first time using their shave balm and I have to say so far it has exceeded my expectations. The balm is almost a perfect consistency, not too thick and not runny. It has a very refreshing scent that disappears within minutes. What I like most is the immediate effect it has on my skin while applying- it very soothing and really softens the skin. After trying many after shave products I can't say any others so far soften my skin the way this one does. This morning I used a newly purchased, vintage safety razor for the first time. It was much more aggressive than I expected and had me reaching for the styptic pencil for more nicks than I have ever had. I did my usually routine with alum and Thayers Medicated Super Hazel, both of which helped (as usual), but my face was particularly stinging. Once I applied the Proraso I couldn't believe the calming effect. I know that everyone's skin type varies and certain products may not work well for everyone, but I don't think you can go wrong with Proraso. I just finished an older bottle of Proraso splash that I really liked but I have to say this balm beats it hands down due to the smoothness of my skin.

Excellent product for me. The scent has a hint of lime and a hint of eucalyptus. Not too overwhelming scent. It's great on my particular skin as it cools it down after a wet shave.

Proraso intentionally adds enough water to this balm to make it thin enough to spread wide and thin. A thin layer doesn't leave your face feeling greasy, but still keeps your skin from drying up.

Nach meiner Suche nach dem idealen Abschluss einer gründlichen Rasur, habe ich den grünen Proraso Balsam entdeckt. Er bietet nicht nur eine sofortige Beruhigung und Kühlung nach der Rasur, sondern unterstützt auch die Hautregeneration bei eventuellen Reizungen. Mein einziger Wunsch wäre ein leicht höherer Mentholgehalt für eine intensivere Kühlung. Versand Wie gewohnt war der Versand problemlos, mit einer schnellen und sicheren Lieferung an eine Packstation. Der Balsam kam unbeschädigt und gut verpackt bei mir an, was den positiven Gesamteindruck abrundet. Fazit Dieser Balsam ist für mich der ideale Abschluss einer gründlichen Rasur. Seine sanfte Formel ohne Alkohol, der dezente Duft und die ausgezeichneten Pflegeeigenschaften sorgen für ein erfrischendes und beruhigendes Hautgefühl. Obwohl ich mir persönlich ein wenig mehr Menthol wünschen würde, überzeugt mich die Qualität dieses Produkts vollständig, weshalb ich es definitiv wieder kaufen werde.
