We ordered this spool of wire rope as a more permanent solution for training vines up a wooden 4x4 post in our garden. The local hardware store was selling this for $0.55 a foot and buying this spool in bulk was more economical. The wire is of high quality and as described. It worked well for my application and I would buy it again. I do suggest buying a wire cutter that is designed to keep the ends of the braided rope from fraying. This will make cutting the rope into desired lengths clean and simple. Something like the GreenLee Hard Wire cutter (783310199908) works well.

The cable itself seems to be of adequate quality, but I was in a real bind because I was depending on this item to be complete and ready for me to go on the job. When it arrived the evening before the job, I opened it and discovered that there were no crimping loop sleeves. The replacement package Amazon sent ALSO didn't have the sleeves! This SNAFU could have been avoided if they simply sold the cable without the sleeves. I ultimately found the right parts locally at Greenshield Industrial Supply, but it did cause me several hours of headache and having to pay my guys to stand around.

I purchased this cable to hang a 21" mirror ball 18' over the stage in a theater. I run the cable thru 2 pulleys and to a small electric winch for raising and lowering the ball. It is the PERFECT cable for the job. A great value for 100' roll of 1/8th inch stainless rope. A high quality product. I'm also making up a bunch of short safety cables for some new LED fixtures. Very happy with this product!

Ordered this to create an overhead retractable canopy for my patio. The wire rope came in excellent condition and looks like it will be perfect for my project. I was pleased with the quality and it was a good cost per foot compared to other bundles I was looking at.

This was just the right size and worked easily with aluminum ferrules to hold up a canopy. Did have a bit of trouble cutting it, it’s a question of getting a good tool

Used the cable to install driveway sail shade to protect my automobiles from the Arizona sun. Just make sure to utilizes the proper hardware.

Just got this, not used yet. Seems okay for the price.
