Each helmet comes with five artist-quality markers so you can create your own unique drawing on your helmet. The markers are double ended with one small, detailed tip and one bold, thick tip. Our marker colors come in blue, red, green, yellow, and purple. When the ink dries, your design won't smudge, scratch-off or fade. It's also waterproof! Your kit also includes a specially-formulated bottle of cleaning gel and a scouring pad. When you're ready to change up your drawing, you can use them to completely erase the helmet and design it again. Our helmets are CPSC compliant, so you are fully protected as you design, ride, and design again. Sizing Information: Measure around the head, above the eyebrow and above the ears, where the lip of the helmet would normally sit. Our Classic Skateboard and Aggressive Bike Helmets fit head sizes from toddlers to adult. Suggested age ranges may not apply; when in doubt it's best to measure. Classic Model: Small: 19.75” - 21.25” (Age 3 - 6), Medium: 20.5” - 22” (Age 7 - 12), Large: 21.25” - 22.75” (Age 12+) Aggressive Model: Small 21” - 22.5” (Age 3 - 6), Medium: 21.75” - 23.25” (Age 7 - 12), Large: 22.5” - 24” (Age 12+) *Aggressive model helmets run larger than the Classic model helmets. The "Aggressive" style helmet looks like a traditional bike helmet, and the "Classic" style helmet looks more like a skateboard helmet. Awesome helmet!
I recently moved down to Texas for business school. Having lived in New York prior to my move, I was car'less... but I did have a bike. A little fed up with my ugly helmet decorated with zombies (don't ask!), I wanted to have a pretty helmet that better fit my personality. With that said, it's pretty darn tough to find an adult helmet with a pretty design (lots of designs out there for kids, not so much for grown-ups). That's why I gave this a try.I love my helmet!! The design process was easy, just draw on the helmet with the markers and use the cleaning solution + pad thing to erase when you make a mistake. The markers work well on it, and the colors are beautiful. The cleaner really does the trick. I was surprised when I didn't have to scrub that hard to wipe off the marker. it makes me feel like a kid again (which I love!)I got the bike helmet looking one, and it's a unique design with the tall sides and raised lip at the front. Not everyone will like it, but I did.Sizing, I was nervous about that but since it's Amazon I could always return it and get another size. Anyway, it wasn't a problem.In conclusion, give this product a try! It does what it says, and I'm probably going to order more as Christmas gifts.

Even more fun than I thought!
I swear I measured my head correctly, but "large" was still larger than I intended. Oh well, gives me room for a warm hat.As for the helmet, I admit I haven't had this much fun in some time. I am not known for my visual arts skills, but the semi-permanence of these markers (and the fact that you really have to erase everything, not just areas) actually helped focus me on quality and skill. In the end I made a wing on one side and a brain on the other, black outlined with white fill, backed by solid color backgrounds that really look quite pretty on the finish. I love the way it looks riding and people have been surprised by my hidden marker talents.The helmet is quite weighty and not very aerodynamic (I chose it for this look, not wanting the generic athletic-looking helmet), but it is comfortable and fits securely. My only complaint is a slight whistle through the holes at certain angles to the wind. I sandpapered the sharp edges a bit and the whistle was reduced.

Could be great
We bought this helmet after my son's previous helmet cracked. He saw this and loved that he could draw on it.The good : The product is exactly as advertised. The helmet, markers, and cleaning solution work and my son loves it. He brings his markers out to the playground and has his friends draw on it whenever he goes out. It's a bit of a mess art wise but ... kids. Totally great from the fun and customizing aspect.The bad thing : I measured my son's head and got him the appropriate helmet size. There is a couple centimeter range for the helmet which is fine, but my son is at the bottom edge of the size so he's able to slide his helmet forward and back and tends to expose more than he should (even with the straps all proper and tight. His previous helmet had an adjustable back strap which made sure the fit was perfect and I could ensure the helmet was in position. This should ideally have something like that.Giving it three stars as the main point of the helmet is to protect the head and it does, but is not 100% securable. If they add some sort of adjustable mechanism in the future, this would be a perfect helmet.***************UPDATE 8/17Grafitti Helmets did reach out to get me inserts, but we just used his old helmet for a bit until he grew into this one ... which he has. Fits fine now and doesn't slide around etc. He loves the helmet and doing different designs and styles every couple weeks. Lots of his friends have signed it, so it's unexpectedly been a good social experience.Upping the score from 3 to 4 stars as they did reach out when I mentioned the issue, but still leaving off a star as the initial fit measurements weren't accurate.

This is the coolest concept! And it delivers functionally as well! My 5 year old loves it so much! I know it’s strange that he’s so into horror figures but he hasn’t actually seen the movies and I can’t deny him what he’s into 😂 I definitely recommend it although I do think it should’ve included black to create contrast.

Good gift
Such a great idea for kids!! My son spent hours drawing in this helmet. I don't think it provides serious protection in the forehead area though. Even when it's right and adjusted correctly, it's bulky and leaves most of the forehead exposed.

Fits Great, Fun to Draw On!
First off, I was surprised at how stylish it looks on me given that helmets aren’t the next fashion statement. The narrow vents give it a cool look. As for head-protectiveness, I definitely chose the right size because the helmet fits pretty snugly. It’s secured by a chin strap which is fairly comfortable compared to others I’ve tried that use the same strap. I noticed that there are removable foam inserts on the inside which doesn’t help me because I don’t expect my head to grow (FYI to parents/kids, you can adjust the helmet larger, just un-velcro the inserts).Now for the fun part! The markers work surprisingly well and were really easy to use. Each marker has a wide tip on one end and a thin tip on the other. I was worried at first about smearing or scratching, but the ink dried super fast and appeared scratch-proof (tried scratching it off with my nails). Blending the colors together made for some interesting results. The cleaner was simple to use and removed the ink very easily. Be careful of drips though!Overall, I'm very impressed with this helmet and can't wait to show of my endless customizations!
