i got this in today... very nice quality flatware... the box... well nice... the Germany label fell off... i will have to glue it back on. and the upper tray is a bit flimsy and was cracked in a few places. but for the price i guess i can live with that and the flatware is very nice and a good weight... lots of extra serving flatware too... I purchased this set and also another set 1 day later from a different seller but this is definitely a better quality. The sets from healthy clad are 18/10. There is a huge difference between 18/0 and 18/10. Please don't fall for the cheap prices from other sellers selling also flatware sets and don’t tell you the quality of the metal used in their sets. I would buy again from Healthy clad. Great customer service and fast delivery.

SUMMARY: 2-3star on quality, not like the 18/10 American standard, 5 star design, good customer service. size may be a problem for some see pictures. I am happy with it because of the low price.I was apprehensive to order since so many complained about the box and scratch on the utensils. but I thought the price was right and if anything I could return. it is very beautiful!!!! the box was damaged and some pieces were nicked or scratched. i really wanted to keep it but was not happy so i decided to give the seller a chance. it was very easy to contact the seller and he was extremely easy to work with. I explained that I wanted to give him a good review because the item was really pretty. he was so accommodating and courteous! we exchanged some pictures and we had been in touch as he updates me of the progress and I hope to receive a new box insert and replacements soon. I will update when I receive it. as for the size of the items it is not quite American standard size. the teaspoons are smaller and the tablespoons are bigger. the ice tongs are very little they are really not ice tongs but sugar cube tongs. I don't have a problem with it, it is beautiful. it seems good quality but it does adhere to my magnet knife holder so I don't know what does that say about the kind of stainless grade. my Oneida knives do adhere but not the other pieces like spoons etc. yes the item was defective in some of the parts but the seller will replace it and SO FAR I only have praises for customer service communication. will update later hopefully they will arrive before my trip. hope the pictures helpin the picture you see the teaspoon compare to Oneida golden Juilliard and cache gold from Yamazaki. also a picture of the defect, top detail and hanging from the magnetic knife holder.UPDATE: the seller came thru with the replacements but . I still think is pretty but because of the size I would say buyer pay attention. I am using it for every day use and I can say this is NOT the usual American quality but hence the low price. Was looking for a high quality stainless steel flatware set. This quality set arrived and was packaged very well. The gold accents are sweet. My only gripe is the teaspoons and salad forks are laughably small. Looks like a setting for children. But then the tablespoons are oversized. ?? I don't get it. The regular forks and butter knives are perfect. So in my opinion, the quality is there, it's just the sizes are not the "norm".

Bought this for the holiday meals and special celebrations. Love the look and feel of the utinsels. There is more items included than I had expected. The only draw back would be the plastic insert on the wood cover. I'm afraid it's get cracked or broken easily. We'll just have to be careful not to lay anything on it or press on it. Overall, a very good product.

Crappier box I have ever seen. Box busted the first day.

Very disappointed. As others have mentioned the box was not in good shape. Label fell off, tray was broken, and draw was poorly aligned - particle board can be seen from the front. Took a couple pieces out and each had some form of scratch. If this was supposed to be Swiss quality, it did not live up to its name. It's going back! And yes the container it came in was damaged as well.

This set has everything and some. Each piece is very detailed with gold handles. The box is quite nice as well but I wish the window in the top was made of glass instead of plastic. The window in my set arrived cracked but I'm sure I can take it apart, replace the plastic then glue it back together. When the set arrives it has every piece individually wrapped in plastic so you don't have to worry about each piece scratching each other.
