Novel Kimi no Na wa. (Your Name)(Kadokawa Bunko)

Love the side and all and all it’s just wonderful.. BUT if you want the book with furigana then you should go to Amazon.co.jp make an account and buy the one with the blue outline like I wish I’d done.. comes out to about 20$ (b/c of shipping, the book is like friggen 4$!) anyway.. kanji is my weak point like it seems most ppls.. but not gonna down rate something because of my lack of research. Just wanted to throw this out there.

Great story! For Japanese learners, this is a great and easy book to read because many people are familiar with the story. It’s also smaller than I expected but it’s rather cute, and the book cover is shiny as well.The story is like you would expect! It’s beautifully written, and it’s told in a way that you would always feel immersed and this is the first book I've ever read that has this type of story telling. (Aka the two main character’s dialogue overlap/interrupt each other and you know when they switch back and forth. So interesting!) Overall, I really recommend this book.

kind of disappointed after receiving the book, the size of the book is really tiny which makes it hard for me, as a learner for Japanese, hard to tell the difference between the characters. For its price i don’t think this is worth it, some Japanese reviews also wrote the fact that it’s misinterpreted after you’ve watch the movie which doesn’t make the book as it’s “supposed” to be.

The story is great.I don't have much command of the language and found this challenging to read. Because of this, I cannot speak to the quality of the writing. It helps that I've seen (and own a copy of) the movie (which I also love).

I'm learning Japanese, and I really like this story. It made it easier because I already knew the story, and the writing is around middle school level, so it's interesting without being too complicated. It's an amazing counterpart to the movie.

初見はアマプラで動画を見ました。とても感動的な内容でしたが、物語の各種設定がイマイチ理解できないところも多々ありました。例えば「なぜ入れ替わるのか？」「なぜ祠には彗星の絵が描かれているのか？「なぜおばあちゃんにも昔似たような体験があったのか？」などなどです。小説を読むことにより、これらの疑問点が全て解決し、小説を読んだ後、再度動画を見たらより深く物語を理解することができ、感涙しました。映画から入った方で物語をより深く理解したい方には非常におすすめです。

飛行機の中で暇つぶしに見始めた「すずめの戸締り」に感動して小説版を購入し、次に見た「天気の子」にさらに夢中になって、こちらも小説版を購入。そして今作に辿り着きました。当時映画を観た時と同じ感動が蘇りました。映像も音楽もないのに、文章だけで映画と同じくらいの臨場感を感じました。文章が上手なだけではなく、過去と現在、三葉と瀧くんそれぞれの視点の切り替わりといった場面展開が秀逸で、人の心を揺さぶるような表現力があると思いました。映画では語られなかった2人の心情を知ることができ、より共感して物語に引き込まれました。映画公開時から数年経過し、今更…という気もしましたが、購入してとても良かったです！今から映画を見返すのが楽しみです。

面白かったです

アマゾンプライムビデオで映画版を見て感動したので、衝動的に買ってしまいました。映画版とは違って、登場人物の心情がより鮮明に表現されていて、映画を見終わった直後にも関わらず、新鮮な気持ちで読み進められました。あまり長くもないので、ちょっとして時間で読み切ることができます。特に、最後の場面では登場人物の心情の動きがとても繊細に表現されていて、、、何度も読み返してしまいました。

個人的にはあまり好きではありません。いままで読んできた小説というものとの違いに面食らっています。特徴的なのは物語のテンポがアニメなのです。構成もセリフも切り割も漫画の感じなのです。なので文学を読んでいる感じはありません。アニメ好きの若い人にはいいんじゃないでしょうか。
