Fend off an army single handedly?
Of course not. I find it pretty funny when I read comments from people who are disgruntled because they bought a knife/sword in this price range, but become enraged when they realize the piece they just bought, won’t cut the world in half. You want an actual sword? Buy Albion or Lockwood. I’m still waiting for mine, and in 12 days, it will be one year since I purchased the ACTUAL sword made by an ACTUAL smith. This thing is heavy, well made for the intended purpose, and looks very good. Stop being so childish about cutlery. You demand something that will serve as a live blade? Spend the money. A lot of money. You want something that looks good, and might be ok to whack something semi-hard? Spend 1/10th of what you would pay for a smitty’s product? Yeah. This will do fine.

Good for display purposes
Nice looking piece. Not sharp and not actually 1095 steel. Dulled on one hit to a training dummy. Will be kepping as a display piece.

Worth the price
It's a beautiful sword. Well crafted and the weight of is pretty good, it's on the heavy side.the sword is more purple than blue, I was hoping it would be more blue, but it still looks amazing and definitely worth the price. You will not be disappointed.

GORGEOUS PIECE!
This is my first sword I've ever bought myself, and I knew it had to be a jian blade. Upon receiving it (SHIPPED IN 3 DAYS!!! I've ordered pepper flakes that took longer to deliver!), it was in exemplary condition! a few little imperfections in the treatment of the blade for its blackening, and a few tiny scratches. The blade also gets a tiny bit stuck near the hilt when sheathing it, but a little sanding smoothed it out. The guard, the pommel piece, the metal parts on the scabbard, all have fairly simple but nice dragon patterns (or they would all be dragons, but upon closer inspection the one on the pommel has the head of a European griffon from standard coat of arms. Doesn't detract from it though, nobody else will see it ^-^) Overall, 9.3/10!!! I'm so pleasantly surprised at what I feared was going to be a crappy mess of junk metal! If I ever get another sword, I know exactly where I'm going to order it from~

Very good sword, absolutely worth the money.
Amazing sword and very sharp. Pictures do not do the copper pieces justice. Looks way better in person!
