Awesome Product! So, I have struggled for a long time to find a beard product that softens my somewhat curly beard without leaving it greasy which I personally can’t stand. There’s no doubt that beard oil softens the beard but they all leave it greasy for the entire day. Always Bearded Beard Cream is the only thing I’ve ever tried that softens like an oil but there is no greasy residue. It’s fantastic! I’ve used it daily for a couple weeks now and even went back to beard oil for a day just to be sure I wasn’t imagining how great the cream was. I can’t imagine ever using anything else...and an added bonus, my beard has never seemed so full before either. If you’re skeptical just try it. You have nothing to lose and a totally soft, full beard to gain.

I had tried various oils and balms to keep my beard and, more importantly, the skin under it healthy. This stuff moisturizes, smells nice but not overpowering, and doesn't leave a residue. I have a habit of touching my beard, and oils I'd used previously would get on my hands and leave stains on my clothes. This stuff doesn't irritate my skin like other oils and balms and also absorbs quickly and thoroughly. Highly recommended.

Good product, smells nice and has a matte, no greasy appearance. It does make my beard almost sticky in a way has not changed the softness of my beard at all. But a good product to maintain your beard with a good scent.

Scent took some getting used to. Didn't last long enough for my application(goon to work) but definitely good for shorter term use(going out).

From A-Z this cream is great. I got the lime scent one before and this is a bit more solid. Love it.

First, I'm relatively new to the beard game, having one for just a little over a year now. Also, while mine is pretty full, I typically keep mine short, around a #2-#4 standard trimmer guard length. I bought the Always Bearded Cedar product as a replacement for my Beardbrand Temple Smoke (amazing scent) Beard Balm which a 4oz jar lasted me about a year. I was looking for less of a wax texture, less shine, and easier to wash out replacement which might also cost less than the $40 price tag of the Temple Smoke Beard Balm. This Always Bearded Cedar "cream" will not be that replacement.First the good, I like the scent. It has a nice, subtle, cedar and organic scent to it. I'm pretty easy-going with scents as long as it isn't too strong, too medicinal, too musky, or too sweet, chances are I'll think it's alright. I gave the scent a 4 out of 5.Also, packaging, the glass jar was fine; but, I really liked the protective zip-strip plastic seal on the jar. It's always good when you buy a product like this to not have a drag mark where someone else took a finger scoop out of it to test it like you always see in retail stores.Lastly, price point is pretty good for a 4oz jar that should last most people at least 6 months.That's about all I can say about the good.Now the bad, this absolutely is not a cream in the sense of a conditioner or lotion type consistency cream or even a hair styling cream. It has more of a texture of a light or whipped butter spread feel too it. This makes sense because the second ingredient is partially hydrogenated vegetable oil. It emulsifies well when you scoop a little into your hand and then rub them together prior to putting it into your beard; but, it's also pretty stubborn to wash out. Normal foaming hand soap didn't remove it from my hands. I had to use dish soap. It does have more of a shine than I was looking for but that's just my take on it. Also, I can't grade this product on skin or beard conditioning, softening, or long term use because I used it once and will likely not use it again. I picked up a Cremo Beard and Scruff Cream at a local Target the next day. I was able to open up a few jars of different brands and while I'm not exactly crazy about the minty scent, it has the cream like texture I was looking for.So if you like or really want to try a hemp oil based product, are looking for something a little thinner than wax based typical utility or beard balms, if the price point looks good, if you're looking for a nice clean cedar smelling product then give this Always Bearded Cedar "beard cream" a try. If you're really looking for a cream, try something else as I'll be doing.

Great ingredients and great scent. But the key here is that the cream is not greasy (as advertised). So you can touch your face and not worry about getting your hands greasy.

My husband's skin reacts to many products, but this cream is perfect. It has softened his skin and no more weird flakiness under his beard. And his beard is so soft now. I love it.
