My boyfriend's favorite mochi
My boyfriend has tried several different kinds of mochi's on the market, but these have become his favorite of which I will order as gifts for him or as a treat. Have ordered multiple times and our go too brand on Amazon

Great
A little powdery but exactly the same kind of mochi from the frozen yogurt shops

Yum!
I always have loved these! Especially with frozen yogurt! I don’t remember these tiny pieces though they were a tad bit bigger and more consistent but still good!

Available on Amazon? Amazing!
The price is a couple more dollars than purchasing it at H mart or an Asian grocery store. However, given my location and distance to a H mart, this was completely worth the price! The mochi was soft and fresh! Perfect addition for pabingsoo!

Too Much Cornstarch/Rice Flour
I first bought this product about 6 years ago and the quality was amazing but this time the mochi was COATED in way too much cornstarch/rice flour half of the contents in the packaging was just the cornstarch/rice flour. The mochi itself was a little too squishy as well, the overall quality has gone down a lot 😔

So yummy.
These are delicious. It's messy because of the powder, but I would still recommend it. 10/10. Perfect Ice Cream Topping.

What happened??
Honestly, these used to be my favorite candy. When I took the product out of the amazon packaging I was shocked. Not worth the price-I think the company may have changed hands or are trying to boost profits by offering less mochi and adding more powder. I bought these last year, and they're simply NOT the same. I noticed on the package they added a label that states "Corn starch is solely used to prevent bunching". Well my dear artisans, the candy isn't up to par. The candy is as another amazon buyer said: sweeter but not in the best way, and absolutely COVERED in powder.I feel silly for not having taken pictures. My trash bag is completely powdered now. The cornstarch they are using "to prevent bunching" probably weighted about 50grams out of the 300. I could see the outline of the mochi, but nearly no color they were so coated! I had to use a wire sieve to even get to the candy, and they're still "shedding" cornstarch as I am eating them. I'll try again locally and see if they have the same problems.
