Mochi Sweet Rice Cake Topping - White 300g 10.58oz

One of my favorite toppings for yogurt, ice cream, shaved ice etc… delicious. Consistency is nice and soft and has the right amount of sweetness. Good texture. Goes great with fruit based as well as caramel or chocolate syrups as well. Versatile product.

Since my last review I have repurchased again along with another brand. These are THE best. These mochi are better quality than the others as the texture is very "chewy". The reason why they put rice flour as well as corn starch on them is to keep product from bunching as well as the person eating them from choking because of the fact that they are very chewy and very sticky without, which make it safer to eat. It's also a good sign that you are getting a better quality mochi. Because if it's not got those characteristics it's not good mochi to me. Product was fresh, packaged wonderfully, shipping was on point. I would highly recommend as well as purchase again. :)

Slightly sweet, plain mochi. Used it as a topping for ice cream--the mochi hardened slightly, but was still chewy. The bag is not resealable, but you can put leftovers in another container or throw the whole package in a gallon-sized ziplock. There was a LOT of corn starch, but it was easy to remove the excess by shaking it in a sifter for a few seconds. I'd rather have excess corn starch than have mold or lots of pieces stuck together, as mentioned in some of the Tea Zone mochi reviews. This mochi probably won't blow you away with the quality, but it's affordable and satisfies your mochi fix.

good taste. the first time i bought this, there seemed to be way too much corn starch/flour . the second batch i bought was sticky and not enough corn starch/flour in it. both times tasted great. love putting it in my dessert shaved ice!

I love mochi ice cream, but I don’t always want the ice cream; sometimes I just want the mochi. I thought I’d give this a try. It’s delicious!!!! I got the blue package that’s pictured. They’re so yummy and the expiration date is great (it’s 9 months from now). I’m definitely going to order more. Slight vanilla flavor, which I love!!!Update: I placed a second order a couple of weeks later and was delivered a different brand (yellow package) than the blue package that is picture and that I received the first time. I’ve seen several complaints from people that got the yellow package saying it tastes bad. I can only speak for myself and say the yellow package was just as delicious as the blue!!!! Yummy!!!!
